Rizal’s poems reflected the influence of Rizal’s mentors: biases towards religion, the history of Spain and views about non-Catholics

His poems also included classical names of Greek & roman gods

Poetry as a Student in UST: “ A La Juventud Filipina”- told the youth to

unfold their artistic talents

“ Consejo delos Dioses” He wrote the poem “ Junto Al Pasig” in 1889 Great Solace in Greatest Misfortune -
