Main application areas for RM cores are: Filter inductors, where is used 10G,16G and 26G material, with center hole and threaded sleeve on request. Low distortion broadband transmission at low signal modulation, where 19G, 22G, 12G and 32G materials are recommended. RM cores are required also for power applications. For this purpose are suitable 15G, 45G, 35G, 55G and 75G materials, usually without center hole. Cores RM4 through RM14 adhere IEC 431 and DIN 41980. The coil formers adhere to DIN 41981. Marking: Cores without air gap are signed by the name of material on one half of core set. Cores with air gap are signed by the material and the Al value, on the gapped half of core set.
