Efficient delivery whatever thelocation
When a giant engineering contractor with multiple locations and an unprecedentedquantity of plant, machinery and installations decided to outsource all statutoryinspections, the sheer scale of the project reverberated throughout the industry.Unfazed by the size of the task, our Engineering Inspection team worked with the clientto develop bespoke procedures to ensure the contract ran smoothly and efficiently.
We approach all projects, large or small, in the same way.
Careful planning and flexibility was the key to delivering an inspection service on such a large scale, especially when many of the inspections had to be carried out in busyworking environments. Visits had to be arranged well in advance and our EngineerSurveyors had to fit in with the client's specific health and safety requirements. Weplaced a lead Engineer on site to work in partnership with the client, taking care ofthe day-to-day management of the contract. This detailed involvement made sureour inspection services were delivered as efficiently as possible.

THERMOGRAPHICRISK ASSESSMENTRISK MANAGEMENT SERVICES
OUR APPROACH HAS REAL VISION
Fire or business interruption resulting from an electrical
system failure is a real concern for your clients. You can take
away the worry by recommending our thermographic risk
assessment. This service is a great way to see beyond what
is visible to the naked eye and is fast becoming essential for
any business wishing to have a robust risk management
programme in place. It provides reassurance that every
possible step has been taken to minimise potential claims
losses by flagging problems before they develop into
something more serious. Your clients will be pleased to hear
that the benefits of a thermographic risk assessment far
outweigh the relatively low cost of providing this service.
Our Electrical Engineers are specialists in
the use of thermographic cameras and,
most importantly, are experts in how to
interpret the data and images they produce.
Thermography adds an extra dimension
to the visual inspection of electrical
distribution systems. The thermographic
camera assists in determining whether an
electrical circuit is healthy, deteriorating or
at a dangerous level.
We use the cameras to detect unseen
'hotspots' that might lead to electrical
failures and have the potential to start a
fire. Assessments can be carried out on a
building’s electrical distribution, or just
specific plant or parts of the installation.
After we have completed our inspection,
we send your client a detailed report on
our findings with clear recommendations
about what actions they need to take in
order of priority.
Our team of qualified Thermographers
carry out assessments all over the UK and
across mainland Europe. While judging the
integrity of an electrical wiring system is
the main thermographic service we offer,
we can also use the technology for various
other applications, such as detecting any
unacceptable levels of heat in rotating
machinery. This means your clients will
always have access to a fast and efficient
service for detecting problems with
electrical plant and circuits before they
spark a major incident.
Now you can add value to your broker
offering through our Thermography
Services. Together we can provide your
clients with a whole new level of support.

When the risk is high we have the solution
When the owners of a large retail store asked us to carry out a ThermographicRisk Assessment, we were only too pleased help. Given the number of shoppersvisiting the site, our client needed additional peace of mind following the visualinspection of the building's electrical system. Their fears were well founded.
Our survey revealed a serious connection issue inside a control panel that wassupplying electricity to new equipment that was under a year old. We discoveredseveral components and cables had already melted. Without prompt remedialaction there would have been a serious risk of a fire. This could have haddevastating consequences in a busy department store.

We go to great lengths to give expert advice
Whether near or far, massive engineering installation or single machine, the standard and professionalism of our EngineeringConsultancy Services is always the same. It doesn't matter where a client is based, we go to great lengths to give expert advice.
We recently provided support for a crane installation in Uganda that had been damaged while out on hire in Kuwait. The conditionof the crane had to be assessed in order to find out who was responsible for the repair.
Although the crane was in a remote location and access was not easy, our team quickly quickly completed a thorough inspectionand filed a full report that included advice and guidance on what to do next. The client was delighted with our prompt serviceand we managed to resolve the problem to everyone's satisfaction.
