events has been generated:

Worldwide 2003-2012 (80 events)

North Sea 1976-2012 (36 events)

Review of, accident reports, safety recs.,

previous studies and reports, national rules.

Risk Matrix identifies hazards linked to possible

avoidance/mitigation actions.

1. New rule on ‘survivable water impacts’

Reduce the risk of sinking

EFS automatic arming/disarming/deployment

Greater individual flotation unit autonomy

providing high-level floats)
