Student Testimonials about Disqualification
• “I’m glad it happened, [the disqualification] was a really good wake up call. You need that in life sometimes” – Angelina.
• “I guess it wasn’t the greatest day of my life. But, I can’t say I was surprised by it” – Max
• “When I got [here] I was just going through the motions and not really putting my effort into it. I had a job; I always had a full time job. Now, I’m only working one to two days a week. I didn’t want work to come first anymore. I worked too much and I was too tired to do my homework or to read – Sara.

What If It’s Not Possible to Attain a 2.0 in one semester?
“Graded Units Enrolled in Current Semester” Increase to 18, 21, 24
Determine how many classes it will take to reach a 2.0. Make note of classes you’ll take on your Action Plan.
Repeat courses to increase GPA quicker. Depending on finances, it can take you a few semesters to reach a 2.0, and that is OK!
Repeat/Grade Forgiveness Policy
Any course with a grade of C- or lower, or WU or IC may be repeated
The better of the two grades will be factored
into the GPA
Only one repeat allowed per course
Grade forgiveness applies to courses taken and repeated
at CSUCI for up to 16 units
• Additional 12 units may be repeated, but grades will not be replaced
Additional Units Repeated
~ ~ • Failing grades received due to academic dishonesty will
not be grade forgiven
d
