ROAD TO ART Creative Camp
COUNTRY / CLUB: ROMANIA / District 2241 / ROTARY CLUB Bacau
OBJECTIVE: Painting camp
PROGRAM: ACCORDING TO APPENDIX
PARTICIPANTS: 14 young people, one boy and one girl from each country + 6 young artists, painters (pupils or students) from District 2241
AGE: 16 - 22 years
Language English - fluent.
COST: 210 Euro/ participant. Participants will need to cover flight tickets to arrival point and back,
Pocket money to cover personal expenses during the stay. MATERIAL will be provided by the organizers - canvas, colors,
frames, and other materials.
ARRIVAL: Bucharest / Bacau - June 23, 2018 DEPARTURE: Bucharest / Bacau - July 01, 2018
ACCOMMODATION: Montana Hotel, in Slanic Moldova.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
- Knowledge and talent in painting, - Also the candidates will have to send via e-mail a couple of samples of their artworks – paintings, drawings etc
INDIVIDUAL EQUIPMENT: Individual supplies – colors (optional)
NOTES: Preparing presentations, like a PowerPoint containing artworks of classic and / or comtemporary painters in your country etc
INSURANCE:
All participants shall be privately insured against accidents, illness, third party damages and all other risks according to Rotary International recommendations.

Activities: Arrival in Bucharest / Bacau.
Accommodation, presentation of the program,
equipment, property, exhibition organization, etc.
Travel to Slanic Moldova, accommodation at Montana
Hotel, camps’ official opening, distribution of colors,
pencils, easels, workshop.
Choosing topics, placements.
Involvement of Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, the
main responsible of the project and external
collaborators.
Socializing and entertainment.
DAY 2 (June 24, 2018)
Activities: Workday, painting.
In the evening - workshop – Romanian painting.
Romanian traditional evening.
Presence of the main organizers, members of
Rotaract and Interact. Guest: well known painter for
discussions.

DAY 3 (June 25, 2018)
Activities: Trip to Targu Ocna Saltwork
Museum visit.
Bus trip with tour guide and members of Rotaract and
Interact.
Socializing and entertainment.
DAY 4 (June 26, 2018)
Activities: Workday, painting.
In the evening - workshop – chosen theme from your
home country.
Two or three presentations.
Presence of the main organizers, members of
Rotaract and Interact. Guest: well known painter for
discussions.

Activities: Trip to George Enescu’s Memorial House
in Tescani.
Bus trip with tour guide and members of Rotaract and
Interact.
Socializing and entertainment.
Day 6 (June 28, 2018)
Activities: Workday, painting.
In the evening - workshop – chosen theme from your
home country.
Presence of the main responsible, Rotaract and
Interact. Two or three presentations.
Guest: well known painter for discussions.
Socializing and entertainment.
Day 7 (June 29, 2018)
Activities: Workday, painting.
In the evening – workshop – Artistic management,
how to organize an exhibition, legislation, halls and
places for exhibitions.
Presence of the main organizers, members of Rotaract and Interact Guests: professional museologist, well known painter. (for discussions) Socializing and entertainment.
Day 8(June 30, 2018)
Activities: Workday – Finalizing the paintings.
Preparing painting for exhibition.
Campfire and Disco
Socializing and entertainment.
Presence of the main responsible, rotaract, interact.
Guests: competent museologist, well known painter.

Day 9(July 01, 2018)
Activities: Exhibition of the paintings in the hall under
Rotary aegis. Official closing of the creative camp
“Road to Art”,
Giving diplomas for participating in the camp.
Departure.
Travelling to Bacau/Bucharest, Bus trip with tour guide
and members of Rotaract and Interact.
