TonusApp is the rst Romanian tness app, containing tness and/ or nutrition programs for women. TonusApp is available on Appstore, Google Play or web, with programs in Romanian/ English language. The USP is the availability on all devices together with bilingual availability. Launched beggining of 2018, it has currently 13000 accounts and , in 2019, a CR of approx. 12%.

"TalentBrowse works like a marketplace where recruitment agencies can place their already assessed candidates while companies gain instant access to IT talents interested in job oerings matching their level of experience and expertise.

We speed up the IT recruitment for employers and grow the ROI for recruitment agencies who can place more candidates through our tool."

"The Cast List" is an integrated online casting system for both actors and producers and directors. Actors can, with our help, create professional proles on the site, promote themselves and increase their visibility to international producers. Directors can access these proles, view auditions, create favourite lists, and communicate directly with poten-tial talent with the help of our platform which streamlines the entire process. This platform, which was launched in June of this year at one of the biggest international lm festivals in Eastern Europe (TIFF- Cluj), is unique in Romania and through its expansion and development I hope to raise the region to the same level of professionalism as is found in the USA.

Loredana GheorgheCo-founder / Marketing and PR director, Franc

Carmen ReisenbauerFounder and Managing Partner, TonusApp

"Franc’ is your intelligent personal nancial assistant. He provides continuous, actionable and tailored insights & advice to help you gain a better hold of your nances. He is proposing a “franc” perspective over your nances. He was born during the Innovation Labs 2019 competition where we originally started with a dierent idea (a bank account aggregator given the PSD2 context), but we changed our idea following the discussions with the mentors provided by Innovation Labs. Their insights was great and valuable and this is why we are so excited about the mentors that WER would put us in contact with.

Studies have shown that very few middle class people save more than 10% of their income monthly & the vast majority of them overspend on items they cannot aord. The problem we are aimingto solve is the lack of nancial education.

We’re targeting an untapped market: Europe w/o UK, around 400 mil bankable people, out of which 210 mil are using online banking. Just 1% of this market means 2m users for our application.

Oana DimaFounder, DCDN Research & Development

ENTREPRENEURS

"At DCDN Research & Development, our mission is to create a better web experience by decentralizing the way content is delivered.By lowering the latency and bringing faster speed to the end users, while at the same time lowering the costs for ISPs and Media Platforms, we are bringing the web into the 21st century.

Media Platforms will serve higher quality content faster and cheaper. A simple user who would like to watch the latest episode of their favorite TV show online in 4k would not get it from a big datacenter from Frank-furt or Amsterdam but from their own neighbor.ISPs will lower their costs by having less interconnect trac in Exchang-es because all of the content will be served from their networks.

How are we doing all these great things? We're using our in-house designed install-and-forget hardware boxes that access the content from video platforms and deliver it to end users, being the nodes of our network. Our highly decentralized Boosters and our special caching algorithms will ensure a 90% Cache Hit Rate. They bring the content as close as possible to users thus assuring the best latency."

Ana StratulatCOO, MeetPrep

"MeetPrep wants to be the Articial Intelligence powered virtual assistant for business professionals attending networking events, the rst platform that comes to mind when a professional invests in an event with the objective to network. The breakthrough innovation comes from leveraging technologies like Articial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to re-engineer the business networking process as part of business development management. We create an innovative product in the market that will generate new demand in the process. The solution we are proposing revolves around 3 key questions: which events are most relevant to attend (based on the business strategy, resources availability, opportunity assessment), which participants best match the professional’s prole and the reason for participation, and which are the customized strategies to adopt (preparation, participa-tion, follow-up)."

I want to develop my own products in Romania, high quality activewear (with recycled materials) at aordable prices. I already have a factory based in Romania I work with, but I am looking for funding to make my brand strong, work with designers to produce the rst activewear collection and promote it in a professional way.

Producing high quality activewear, with recycled materials and in a sustainable way will be well received on the local market and surround-ing countries, or even the rest of EU. I want to produce items that are luxurious, yet at aordable prices. I want to produce locally in a Roma-nian factory and so through my business to be able to support other local businesses. I would like then to expand to open in Bucharest a type of Wellness center, a beautifully designed place, where you can have meditation, yoga or other kind of tness / dance classes, shop for clothes and healthy food. A place used as well for women meet-ups and gatherings that help them in their quest of becoming their highest self.

Today , in 2019 , we are present on 16 markets in Europe & Asia not only as a B2C , but more and more as a B2B partner , oering a platform for other related industries and their clients to benet from this service ."

"Despite the growing number of female entrepreneurs over the past two decades, they still face more challenges than men in the business world. On top of everything else, they also have to deal with specic challenges deriving from family obligations, time / mobility constraints, lack of condence in their abilities, lack of access to dedicated business networks. Furthermore, access to nance remains a major issue, consid-ering that the small business loan approval rates are signicantly higher for male applicants than for female-owned companies, worldwide. The proposed project therefore aims at supporting success stories because we want them to be written further, at inspiring others to achieve success and generate other success stories. Inspired by the successful stories of the emancipation movements, 6 leading females in public & business sectors from 6 countries, spanning 4 continents, with the support of an American well reputed business consultancy rm led by a female-entrepreneur unite their eorts to create a movement for women in business. WoMean BUSINESS is a collaborative online platform which:- Connects women entrepreneurs with worldwide business networks and investors circles to provide the seed capital for women owned businesses.- Initiates a female driven investors platform aiming at granting easier access to nance for female-led businesses (gather women who are willing to invest in other women).- Provides resources and tools needed for business development: angel investors programs, grants opportunities, knowledge / experience sharing seminars, online learning, the power of example, formal educa-tion in business subjects and complementary areas, mentorship sessions, forums for practical Q&As; presents user generated and crowdsource content, podcasts."-

We contribute to the emotional development of kids aged between 3 and 8 by reinventing the children’s theater and combining art with technology and psychology. Through our educational programs we approach all ve elds of emotional intelligence: the emotional vocab-ulary, active listening, self-awareness, empathy and how to manage emotions. How do we do that? We know kids learn through association with characters, so we created a story with two role-model characters. These two characters can be found on each product we have: the theater series, the toys, the books. We're also building the rst AR app for developing empathy and tolerance in children that has a physical support, the colouring book.

"My project's main goal is to provide to young students and graduates the opportunity to take into consideration a career as entrepreneurs in Romania.

I want to provide a set of trainings. regarding entrepreneurial skills, to Romanian students and graduates from dierent faculties, both from technical and social sciences. I believe that the Budgeting and Business Planning are esential skills to every future entrepreneur.

I also intend to connect the future young entrepreneurs through an online platform specialised in providing the needed business and nancing consulting to startups.

And nally, I would like to build a set of dedicated events to young entrepreneurs who can socialise and present their projects in dierent stages. They can also benet from the experience of successful mentors."

"In itself, the one-stop-shop InvestCluj is an innovative project for its clients, foreign companies and investors who want to do business in North-west Romania. This group welcomes several challenges: numer-ous meetings in dierent parts of the city, lack of contacts, workspace and easily accessible information.

Current situation:- Dispersed eorts: nowadays, our group of clients must arrange, travel and participate in numerous meetings in dierent parts of the city, often held in coee shops or restaurants.- Limitations on the availability of business support: the support depends on the constraints related to time and human resources of the business communities and municipal institutions. Some consultants oer as well services but only to a certain extent and to a certain point. Therefore, the support oered is partial, fragmented and inconsistent.

Solution: one-stop-shop InvestCluj, providing workspace and consult-ing services in one location or online. We facilitate the overcoming of barriers by being a contact point to multiple channels of information, a marketplace of service providers and a Hub for workspace.

Status: we are currently developing the marketplace in collaboration with co-working locations from Cluj. The marketplace would allow its members to access more easily service providers (freelancers and companies). Opening a Hub for the community is also in our medium to long term plans."

We want to develop the rst modular retail robot in the world. Our main focus will be the markets in US, Japan and Korea. "What has been done: Since 1st of July 2018 I have built a very strong community (Facebook group) with the purpose of rising awareness about climate change and plastic pollution, encouraging members to reduce their waste and focus on circular economy. In the past year we had various successful campaigns and micro-events: have led the ""July Plastic Free"" campaign which created a lot of buzz in Social Media (hundreds of shares), we organised small gatherings where we had upcycling workshops for the kids & grownups. We have encouraged our members to declutter and donate all unnecessary belongings to poor communities in RO and most important we have created together, as a community, a lot of informative content and discovered a lot plastic free solutions with the emphasis on supporting local producers - groceries, beauty products, etc.

What I want to do next? I can clearly state that this community has huge potential for scaling up. Romania lacks the education towards a sustain-able life, but people truly want to learn and do better. I have a huge database of local producers, of resources and educational content which I need to put together in a wider project, in order to ll the gap between zero waste demand and local supply. But for putting up a website and all the content, linking all producers to a platform - I need resources, and for accessing resources, I need to understand how funding works."

"Nummo is a mobile and desktop software app used in speech therapy that has as the main target, at this stage, children with a cochlear implant or speech-language deciencies. In order to come up with a professional speech therapy app we turn to speech therapists for the content and at this moment the app has over 140 exercises. To solve the mobility problem we made it cross-platform, so the app can be used on smartphones, tablets, and desktops. For children, we choose to make the app more like a game, with great graphics and rewards that keep the children engaged and make them play longer."

In 2009, I start AgriUStech Program, the strategic integrated program for developing rural area in Romania. We made events in Romania together with US Embassy, business visit in US ( e.g. Big Iron Show-Frams, Ag Connect, etc.) and Universities, US Eximbank training in US, including nancial solutions, cooperation with BSDC ( technical experts in US). I am currently in a position to reestablish the program in line with current agricultural, digital platform and nancial technologies.

Considering the fact in Romania we have about 5 million small farms, farms that could be equipped and built as family farms, this is the rst reason. Moreover, this project has a direct impact on the sustainable development of the rural areas in Romania, both economically and social and environmentally. By developing such projects, a macroeco-nomic impact is given by the contribution of the agricultural sector and additional activities from rural area to GDP. Last but not least, the impact on food safety and security.

Many people as me also believe in the past that to achieve great things we must make brutal sacrices, that to succeed in work we must focus single-minded, at the expense of everything else in life. Work-life balance has been the trend for quite some time, but the future that we are heading towards demands something more fullling. It is this need of the day that has given birth to the concept of Work-Life Integration. Focusing on bringing the several aspects of an employee’s life, such as work, family, personal well-being, and the community under the same roof, the concept of work-life integration believes in the holistic betterment of life. That’s why I want to have this kind of program ’’Work-Life Integration for Returning Moms at work’’ in order to sustain the inclusion of Moms back in the business. Together with my team members and partners we strive to act as a catalyst for changing the way careers work to better support female talent, and help progressive companies and businesses of the future grow and thrive. Our range of programs for women focus on giving them the support they need to get clarity on what they really want from their career after having children, enhance their skills, rebuild their professional condence and equip them with the mindset and strategies to success-fully navigate career and family. Our programs include: Career transition coaching; Maternity coaching; Job search consulting, including job search strategy, CV, cover letter and LinkedIn prole and personal branding. For employers, our programs provide the information and resources needed to become an employer of choice for female talent, including creating and sustaining a family friendly workplace and promoting exible work arrangements.Programs for employers include: Training seminars-workshops; Well-being programs.

My current project is KryptoDots (https://kryptodots.com/) - a Backup Kit that has been developed to encode and permanently store your recovery seed in the smartest, most accurate and safest way there is. Basically, if you own crypto currencies, there are multiple ways to store your passphrases, but none as safe as the original KryptoDots. At the moment, the safest and convenient way to store your crypto assets is with a hardware wallet. These wallets are deterministically generated by a wallet seed. The seed is the master key of your wallet and the entire wallet can be recreated at any time using it. If the wallet encryption passphrase is forgotten or the wallet is lost, broken, stolen or destroyed, the seed can be used to recover the wallet. So we know how important is to you to make a reliable and permanent back-up for your crypto recovery seed and private keys.At the moment, the safest and conve-nient way to store your crypto assets is with a hardware wallet. We are a full stack product marketing agency working with tech companies in the CEE region to nd product market t or to scale their businesses on a global level through growth marketing services.

We work with tech products only, both B2B and B2C, and are looking to expand the business in other cities as well.

The global economy is constantly being remodelled by new mega-trends and often turbulent changes, therefore it is important to have an adapted corporate governance mechanism with dynamic and transparent practices that respond in real time to changing markets, as well as address the needs of stakeholders. In this context, companies need to target growth through a sustainable and inclusive approach and actively participate in a transparent dialogue with governments and regulators. This can be implemented by setting up a robust gover-nance structure – mainly represented by the BOARD OF DIRECTORS – which will include high-calibre educated individuals, who are adequately prepared for this role.Envisia tackles this market opportunity by launching ENVISIA Business School courses and master classes, as well as its state of the art programme: Boards of Elite in partnership with the Henley Business School, University of Reading - an executive education (world) premiere: the very rst certied and accredited Master of Arts Board Practice and Directorship (MABPD) programme tailored for Non-Execu-tive Board Members. The opportunity is build on the program devel-oped by Henley Business School - the Kakabadse team which has devel-oped the world‘s rst Master‘s degree for practising board directors.

It is a tech start-up that I am currently developing since the beginning of this year (2019), that has the intention to promote and support culturally valuable buildings. This specically for locations that are suitable for a variety of events such as either weddings, concerts, soirées, workshops, lming/shootings, or others.

It is my heartfelt desire to preserve, or in some cases even revive, the culture that lives through such buildings, like castles, residences, gardens, monuments, and other traditional and cultural buildings or other unique event locations.

The project aims to help government-owned and privately owned buildings attract a larger audience - both nationally and internationally - to accommodate event requests. It is important that such activities enhance the castles and cultural buildings and bring them back to consciousness, thereby opening up additional sources of income for them. In fact, it is an online market place, serving locations as an additional marketing tool (ultimately facilitating the process of any individual, organizing their own event).

In order to describe my project a bit more precisely, the phases of devel-opment planned are the following:

- Phase 1: Listing of cultural/special venues (castles, private estates, ruins, monasteries, gardens, etc.)- Phase 2: Listing of selected unique event service providers such as artists, wedding planners, ower suppliers, catering companies, etc.- Phase 3: The linking/centralization of all elements so that the end user can customize "his/her" event.

n summary, the startup serves as a "cultural event database".
