Fans of all ages will be able to relive their most magical memories this year, as Roald Dahl’s films are brought to life on the big screen. To celebrate Roald Dahl 100 – the centenary year of Roald Dahl’s birth - The Dukes have a family friendly film programme that celebrates the world’s number one storyteller.

To celebrate Roald Dahl 100 – the centenary year of Roald Dahl’s birth - The Dukes have a family friendly film programme that celebrates the world’s number one storyteller.

From 11.30am, before the Saturday screenings, families can take part in fun craft activities at The Dukes. These drop-in sessions are free to attend for those watching the film.

STOP MOTION ANIMATION WORKSHOPTuesday 30 August 3pm – 5.30pm I £5 Create your own Roald Dahl inspired animated films with your family. Stop motion animation is a magical medium and a lot of fun. It’s easy to learn and you’ll soon be hooked! In this workshop you will make characters, animate them, and add music to your creations through a series of enjoyable activities.

Please note: Children must be accompanied by a participating adult .Max. of 4 family members per laptop. Larger families are welcome to book, but will be split across the work stations. Minimum age 7+
