Now in our 22nd season the Valley Winds musicians continue to entertain the Bow Valley with joyful music for everyone. We perform a large variety of seasonal music, premiers of new compositions like “Rainbow Through the Rain - a tribute to Bow Valley Resiliency” in 2013, present jazzy dance tunes, invite special guest artists such as the New Zealand Male Choir and Calgary’s Midnight Blue and host charitable events including the Jazzy Christmas on December 12th at the Canmore Legion. Our exciting music program was prepared for you by our renowned Music Directors who are all professional musicians and educators working in the Bow Valley and Calgary together with our dedicated and talented musicians.

A calendar of our 2015 – 2016 season is included on the inside back cover. Tickets go on sale about three weeks before the event. They are available from our website, from O’Canada Soapworks in Canmore, from Alpine Flowers in Banff, and from VWMA members. New this year is a Family Pack of tickets for two adults and all the kids at one low price.

Rehearsals for the Choir are held at St-Michael’s Anglican Church on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. Big Band meets on Wednesday evenings, while the Concert Band meets on Thursday evenings. Both are held at Canmore Collegiate High School from 7:30 – 9:30pm. New members are welcomed year-round. Bursaries are available to make membership affordable to all!
