INTRODUCTION:

3-Phase system have 3 coils and two types.

a-Delta connection.

b-Wye or "star" connection.

And this system "The balanced system" and The reason for the label because it

is 3 times single phase and every coils are later than the other 120 degree .

The motor is connected star as in figure

The motor is connected star as in figure then connected 380V Ac is connected the motor

lines because it is required of motor is 220V and that phase voltage is equal VL/√3= 380√3=

220V, and the connect the two voltmeter to one of lines and phase in parallel to measure

the voltage value, then connect the ammeter series to measure the current value. And gave

us the following value

Note: The starting current in star connection=3A

Second connection: Delta

then connected 220V Ac is connected Second: Then the motor connected delta as in figure

Conclusion:

1-Some high-power drives running on Delta connection, but when you start working on the spin connection star because the intensity of the current in the delta is greater than the intensity of the current in the star If rotation began to pull the Delta High stream which may affect The motor files 2-That each connection of Delta and Star by purpose and the purpose connection is made. 3- when compared the theoretical and practical results we will see little error between

them.
