Dan kept his story, or his case as he called it, flowing by making it a story

HE NEVER STOPPED ENGAGING THE AUDIENCE

Like Nancy Duarte, he was constantly engaging his audience with visuals, with facts, and kept his talk flowing into one huge point

Page 9: Robert Amann TED Talk Slideshow

Between Dan Pink and Sir Ken Robinson, both used a lot of humor to keep the audience entertained They both were VERY animated and just interesting to keep watching because of how into their speech they wereDan had a lot of love for his topic, and had ample information to back up everything he was saying and overall the control of his voice emphasizing the things that needed to be was spot on

The advice to take from Dan’s talk over all…

Be passionate of what you’re talking about! Don’t be motivated by the “you have to do it attitude” or reward yourself for doing it

Keep your creative freedom with what you want to speak about, or you’ll only be focused on the ‘have-to’s’ and only narrow your mind to what you can do with your speec

“There’s a mismatch between what science knows and what business does…”

“20th century motivators work, but only in a surprisingly narrow band of circumstances”

“If than rewards often destroy creativity”

“Secret to high performance isn’t rewards and punishments, it’s autonomy “
