Robert W. “Bobby” Riggs, 84, of Beaumont, died Monday, January 16, 2017, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born February 21, 1932, to Evelyn Halbrook and Melvin T. Riggs. Bobby was a United States Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean War. He was a retired accountant.
Bobby is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Reba Arnold
Riggs; and children, Randy Riggs and his wife, D’Ann; Ricky Riggs and his wife, Wendy; and Robyn Long and her husband, Darin, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Ashley Crill and her husband, Wes, of Austin; Taylor Riggs, Sommer Riggs, Alyssa Ellis, Casey Riggs, and Kailey Long, all of Beaumont; great-grandchildren, Quinn Crill and Presley Crill, both of Austin and Ava Riggs of Beaumont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Halbrook Netterville and Melvin T. Riggs; and brother, Melvin Riggs.
