HERE:- The Regional Level Youth Development cum Leadership Programme for Sr. Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers was organized by the Regional Headquarters, N.E. Region at STC, Maligaon, BSG, N.F.Railway State, from 07

th to 11

thMarch, 2016 in which 134

Participants including Staffs participated. Participants from Assam, Mizoram, N.F.Railway, Nagaland & Tripura State participated in the Camp. On 07

th February 2016, The Camp was

started with the Registration and Settle down, at 10.00 am. Flag,Integration Session, and Objectives of the Event, at 2.00pm. All the participants went for peace march (Swachhata Yovao ki Pehechan) and at 04.00 pm opening ceremony started, Sri John Tochimong, State Secretary BS&G, Nagaland, Sh Khagesh Das, SOC (S), N.F.Railway and other State Officials of N.F.Railway were present. Sri Khagesh Das, SOC (S), of the Bharat Scouts & Guides, N.F.Railway State welcome all the Member and Sri Ashok Kumar Mohapatra, Assist Director, NER made the introductory speech and explained the importance of the Programme. On 8

th March, in First half all the participants

went for Outing and they visited N. E. Regional Headquarters, at Azara. In the afternoon The International Women’s Day was celebrated grandly. Mrs Sunita Devi, STC (G) was the Chief Guest. All the participants celebrated International Women’ Day during the camp fire. During the camp following programmes and sessions were undertaken, viz. Youth is an Asset of Nation, Blood Donation , New implementation of Badges, and Messenger of Peace(MOP). About 75 nos. of new MOP registration was done created id at www.scout.org ( participants were showed songs , Games and also gave guidance how to create /upload projects and News).Sessions on Free being me, Stop Violence, Youth Forum, Debates and Group Discussion etc. were also undertaken. The Valedictory Function was organized in

the afternoon of 10th

March, where Dr.

H.C.Das, Dy. National Commissioner (S) , BS&G, India and State Chief Commissioner

of BSG, Assam State was the Chief Guest.

Others Invitees and Dignitaries were also

present in the function. The Participants

presented their Colourful Cultural

Programme.

The Programme was conducted under the

leadership of Sri Ashok Kumar Mohapatra,

Assistant Director, of North East Region,

Guwahati, BS&G India and assisted by the

invited Staff Members from Nagaland,

Assam, N.F.Railway and Tripura State.

Regional Level Basic Course for Cub Masters

held at STC, Chamatapathar, Assam .

The Regional Level Basic Course for Cub Masters was

organized by the Regional Headquarters. N.E. Region at STC, Chamatapathar, Assam from 5th to 11th March, 2016 in which On 5th March, 2016 the Course was started with the Registration and Settle down at 10.00 am Flag, Integration Session and objectives of the Course. During the Course session on Fundamental of Scouting & Guiding, What is Scouting- Guiding, History of the movement were taken, action song, fun games were also played. B.P Six inspection, Cub Sixer and camp fire were also organized in all the days. The Grand Camp Fire was organized on 10th March, 2016. The Course came to an end on 11th March,2016 with All Faith Prayer Meeting , Cleaning of Camp site and Group Discussion on development of Scouting and Guiding in North East, Open Session Evaluation, Final Talk & lowering of BSG Flag and singing of National Anthem. The Course was conducted under the leadership of Mr. Gautam Bhattacharyya, LT(C) & STC(S) of BSG, Arunachal Pradesh State and assisted by Mr. Kumud Sarma, LT(C), Mr. Kamdev Singh, ALT(C), Mr. Sumdhar Das, Pre ALT(C ), Mr. Binay Krishna Sharma, SOC(S), of BSG, Assam State. Mr. Ajon Taro were of BSG, Assam State was the quarter master of the Course.

Regional Level Basic Course for Flock Leaders held

at STC, Chamatapathar, Assam .

The Regional Level Basic Course for Flock Leaders was

organized by the Regional Headquarter, N'E' Region at State Training Centre, Chamatapathar, BSG, Assam State from 5th to 11th March, 2016 Total 10 Nos. Participants from Assam & N.F.Railway State and 04 Nos. of Staff Members was also there. On 05th March, 20l6, The course was started with the Registration and Settle down, at 10.00 am. Flag, Integration Session, and Objectives of the Course was done on the first day of the Course. During the Course session on Fundamental of Scouting & Guiding, What is Scouting -Guiding, History of the Movement etc. and syllabus of Course as per the Scheme of Training (Guide) was undertaken.

On 10th of March, 2016 Grand Camp Fire was organized. The Course came to an end on 11th March,2016 with All Faith Prayer Meeting , Cleaning of Camp site and Group Discussion on development of Scouting and Guiding in North East, Open Session Evaluation, Final Talk & lowering of BSG Flag and singing of National Anthem. State Level Basic Course for Scout Masters and Basic Course for Guide Captain held at State Training Centre, Nerhema,

BSG, Nagaland from 06th to 12th April, 2016.

State Level Rajya Purashkar Testing Camp was conducted at STC, Nerhema, Nagaland from 12th April to 16th April, 2016.

School, Geyzing and Govt. Sr.

Secondary School, Namthang in a

simple ceremony at Raj Bhawan,

Gangtok, East Sikkim on April 18, 2016

at 12.30 pm in the presence of State

Chief Commissioner, Sikkim and

National Commissioner (Scout), India, Dr. H.P.Chhetri with other state officials of

State Association.

N.F. RAILWAY

World Health Day was celebrated by the Scouts & Guides of BSG, N.F. Railway State on 7th of April, 2016 at Maligaon,

Guwahati.

The Scouts & Guides of Badarpur District, BSG, N.F. Railway State celebrated the World Hemophilia Day on 17th April,

2016. In connection with the Day a blood donation camp was organized . More about 50 Nos. of Scouts & Guides

donated blood voluntarily.

MANIPUR SIKKIM

The World Earth Day was

celebrated at the Bharat Scouts &

Guides, N.E. Regional

Headquarters on 22nd of April,

2016. The Day was made a special

one as so many Scouts, Guides,

Rovers, Rangers from BSG, Assam

and N.F. Railway State was joined

hands with the N.E. Regional

Headquarters Staffs. In the

morning BSG, Flag was hoisted in

the proper procedure and under

the Flag the Scouts & Guides were

provided knowledge about

significance of the World Earth

Day and we all took pledge to

take every possible steps to make

our Earth Green, Clean and to

save our mother Earth from the

activities done by human beings

which are harmful to our

environment. Our brothers and sisters did some activities like plantation of tree

saplings, public awareness campaign etc. A peace march Rally was also organized

which Started from the N.E. Regional Headquarters to Mountain Shadow. The

Scouts & Guides also interacted with local people at Azara and conveyed them the

message and importance of World Earth Day and the Swachha Bharat Mission of

India.

BSG, Manipur State at STC, Langol, Manipur where many

Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Rangers along with state

officials of BSG, Manipur State took active participation.

The Bharat Scouts & Guides,

N.E.Regional Headquarters

had celebrated the World

Earth Day on 22nd

of April,

2016. On that particular day

lots of activities had been

done in connection with the

World Earth Day. Some

activities were also done

under the Swachh Bharat

mission. About 65 participants

from BSG, Assam & N.F.

Railway State participated in

the programme. The

participants cleaned the office campus of the N.E. Regional

Headquarters and some its nearby places at Azara. The

participants went for a peace march rally in the afternoon

Sikkim State joined hands with the Scoops Club Mahendra, Baiguney during the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan drive at SNT Bus Stand, Jorethang on 30th April, 2016.

objective of this E-News Letter to involve and cover more and more news of the

activities done by our brothers and sisters. So, for the fulfillment of our

objective and to publish our movement’s works, we appeal to each and every

concerned State officials of respective States of BSG, N.E. Region to provide us

the reports of the activities done in our N.E. Regional States.
