Robert Frank:

Frank was born in Switzerland on November 9, 1924.He’s a Jewish guy who wasn’t captured by the Nazis during WWII because he escaped to Switzerland from Germany. He uses his photography to escape his business oriented family and home.

Impact:

He started his career in the mid-1940’s. Frank was hired as a fashion photographer. Years later he took a trip and was fascinated by Amurica and took over 28,000 photos traveling across the country. His photos shown improvisional quality and original but objective perspectives.

Homage:

I chose Robert Frank because I think I can take photos that will possibly reflect his in some stupid way. Since his photos are in black and white I will not have to edit any colored pictures which sucks. His photos also represent everyday life so that will be pretty easy to take pictures of.
