Rates
All events are to end at 10 p.m. with one hour of cleanup until 11 p.m. An additional hour can be added for $750.
No rice, birdseed, rose petals, confetti, fire pits, tiki torches, or sparklers are allowed on the premises.
The delivery and pickup of all rental items must be done on the day of your event.
All vendors must provide a one-day certificate of insurance naming UC Regents as additionally insured.
Total event logistics must be approved by the Scripps Seaside Forum Manager to ensure that proper arrangements are made.
A caterer from our approved list must be used for your event, no exceptions.
You may purchase your own alcohol, but the managing and distribution of alcohol at your event is required to be performed by our on-site beverage provider Giuseppe Fine Catering.
Parking can be arranged in adjacent parking lots subject to availability. There is a setup fee to reserve the parking lots and a fee per space used. A lot attendant must be present to distribute permits to your guests at an additional hourly rate.
Caroline’s Seaside Café, located on the second floor of the Scripps Seaside Forum, will be open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

Audio-Visual Capabilities
Our conference rooms and auditorium can accommodate your guests in a variety of configurations and offer the following audio-visual amenities at no additional charge:
Conference Rooms: Flat screen LCD displays for projection, VGA, DVI, Audio and LAN connections, Blu-ray player, 150-watt sound system.
Auditorium: HD projector with 3-D capabilities, 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound, 6 wireless and lavalier microphones, Blu-ray player, iPod dock, VGA, DVI, LAN and audio connection from the podium.
The Ted Scripps Room also offers high-definition video conference capabilities.
PoliciesParking is extremely limited Monday-Friday and arrangements must be made offsite. Shuttles are recommended.

Since 1903, Scripps Institution of Oceanography at
UC San Diego has built a legacy of exploration and discov-
ery, leading efforts to fully investigate the oceans, solid earth,
