Ted Harrison

I like Ted Harrisons paintings because of the colour he uses, the style he uses, and just how he paints them. I like how Ted Harrison only uses cool colours in his paintings. I also like how he only paints paintings from Northern Canada. Also I like the fact that he uses blue to outline things. I think this makes the painting stand out a bit. He could add a bit more texture in his paintings but I also think that’s not his style.

Emily Carr

I like Emily Carr because she uses the same colours with different textures. Also the mood in her paintings is quite clear. She uses different textures which I think makes her paintings look good. I think she doesn’t need any improvement on her work. Also I think she did a very good job on her drawings and I like the pictures she draws.

Robert Bateman

I really like Robert Bateman's paintings. They look so real, at first I thought it was a picture. His pictures all seem very hard to draw because they all have animals in them. It must of took him a long time to paint that painting. I don’t think his paintings could be much better.

I think she did a very good job on this painting. The mood of this painting is quite clear. It makes me feel quite gloomy and a bit lonely. Also I like how she adds a lot of texture onto her painting. I think this makes her paintings look realistic and very good. I also like the background because she adds a lot of layers. I don’t think she really needs to add any improvements in this painting.

I think this painting is also painted very well. I like how she uses a lot of different textures in this painting, I think it makes the trees stand out more. Also the shy looks quite good, I like how she doesn’t uses only blue for the shy and uses a bit of green and peach. I think she could this painting by colouring the sky with straighter lines instead of drawing them curved. Other than that I think she did quite a good job drawing this painting.

I think this painting is actually quite good. I like how Ted only uses cool colours in his paintings. I like how this painting is not winter, but actually summer. I think how she uses purple to outline everything, it makes this painting really good I like how he painted the houses. I really like this piece of painting and I think it is a very good painting.

I think this picture is okay. I like the shy he drawn because it looks very colourful. I like how she uses a lot of texture into the sky. I think this makes the sky stand out a lot. I also like how she outlines everything, this also makes this paintings stand out. But I think she could of added a bit more detail into the bottom of this painting. Overall I think this painting is decent.

I think this painting is very good. It looks as if it was actually a picture instead of a drawing. The picture makes me feel like as if I could almost reach out and touch it. I think it must have took him a long time to paint that picture. I think this picture is basically perfect and I don’t think I could improve it much.

I also like this painting by Robert Bateman. I like how mostly everything is orange, even the sky. I especially like the trees and the background. This picture makes me feel warm and cozy. I think this picture is really good and wont need any improvements on anything.
