Altar Valley Candidate Forum This November 4th the citizens in Altar Valley School District 51 will have the opportunity to let their voice be heard. Three seats on our School Board are up for election this year. The candidates voted in will help in determining the direction of our school district, and therefore determine its future. The members of the Altar Valley PTA believe that

the individuals entrusted in these positions will not only have an impact on the parents and students in the district, but on the community itself. This election as in the past the Altar Valley PTA will be hosting a candidate forum. The candidates will answer a series of questions submitted from the community prior the the event. It will be an opportunity for our candidates to communicate their positions, vision, & goals for our school district. The forum will be held Thursday, October 23, 2008, 6pm - 8pm in the Robles Elementary School cafeteria. We urge all of our citizens to attend. Come and meet your candidates and make an informed decision this November 4th. If you have a question for the candidates please submit it in writing at either school office. Respectfully Kathy Thatcher, Altar Valley PTA President
