Intended audienceAn interactive symposium designed for general surgeons involved in robotic ventral & inguinal hernia repair.
Course descriptionThe purpose of the educational event is to facilitate discussion on successful solutions for managing robotic ventral and inguinal hernia repair and understanding the proper use of Ventralight™ ST w/Echo PS™ and 3DMax™ Mesh. Discussion will include a review of preclinical and clinical data, science and technology of products, and economics or robotic hernia repair.
Surgeons will have the opportunity to see cases performed directly from the operating room.
Educational objectives• Review current literature for hernia repair techniques,
materials and patient management strategies
• Gain new insights into advanced surgical techniques for robotic ventral and inguinal repair
• Demonstrate use of BD products in hernia repair
