Rockabilly.

Rockabilly was a combination of

country and African American

R&B music, that was made

popular by white male artists.

Woodstock Video

Rolling Stone has called it "the most famous

event in rock history." The Woodstock Music

and Art Fair, on a 600-acre farm in the

township of Bethel, New York, from August

15-18, 1969, represents more than a peaceful

gathering of 500,000 people and 32 musical

performances.

In the 1980’s popular rock diversified. Artists like Van Halen and Queen showed their skills with guitar rock, while artist such as Bob Segar and John Cougar Mellencamp developed a style known as Heartland Rock.

•Def Leppard is an English rock band who formed in 1977 as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement

•They became one of the top-selling rock bands throughout the 1980s, selling over 65 million albums world wide
