Dwcussion Both the Aw Force Tower and 132 Transformer Foundation areas were mated dunng thls meetmg A proposal was presented to Mr Kruchek regardmg the removal of these foundations The proposal entds provldrng documentabon addresang the Woncal research conducted PCB information provlded by XceI Energy (for the aansformer at 132 pad) radiolog4 survey data, and pictures of these foundabons Mr Kruchek agreed wth thrs disposal approach Charactemation informmon regarding these meas I attached and mdicates that it meets the cntena for free release per the concrete RSOP In addition, a voice mad was left for Mr Kruchek on 3/29/01 statmg that the steam h e stanchons for hnes feeding B1 1 1 and B333 and the concrete sidewalkdpads sunoundmg these bulldmgs would be mcluded in ths project On 4/4/01 Mr IGuchek wsited these areas and agreed that the same disposal approach could be used for these concrete areas

Based on lustoncal knowledge no operat~ons occurred wrth RCRA or CERCLA mnst~tuents at or near the A r Force Tower pads The pads arc not panted, therefore ConCeRls of lead based pamt are not an issue Visual mspect~ons revealed no chenucal &mung of the pads Therefa m accordance wth 8 CCR 1007 3 Parts 261 and 268 and 40 CFR 302 4 the CoIlcrete pad matenal is not subject to RCRA or CERCLA ngulat~ons
