We invite you to join us for a comprehensive overview of the diagnosis and management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) to be held from March 13–15, 2020 at the Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center, The Canyons Village, Park City Mountain Resort, Park City, Utah. Take advantage of this cutting edge educational program in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONThe Rocky Mountain IBD Course provides an intimate venue for the discussion of cutting-edge information among healthcare professionals who provide IBD patient care, including gastroenterologists and surgeons as well as primary care providers, nurses, physician assistants, and other allied health professionals. The goal of the Rocky Mountain IBD Course is to condense the latest developments in the medical and surgical management of ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Difficult clinical problems across the continuum of care will be covered using lectures, panel discussions to facilitate interaction among faculty and attendees. Topics will include new and emerging IBD therapies, prioritizing the many treatment options, as well as controversial management issues in IBD. Recent data on disease complications, therapeutic drug monitoring, perioperative management, and quality of care will also be discussed.

INTENDED AUDIENCEPracticing Gastroenterologists, Colorectal and General Surgeons, Fellows, Physicians Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and GI Nurses.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES1. Learn the latest diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in IBD.2. Develop an approach to the patients with penetrating Crohn’s disease and complications of J-pouch.3. Appreciate the impact of genetics, microbiome and diet in IBD.4. Acquire a comfort level with treating IBD in the setting of special populations.
