Rodney’s Roses and Garden Centre began as a plants nursery in 1985 and immediately diversified

into other agri / horticulture activities. Today, we are involved in:

It is over 28 years since we have been involved in landscaping and maintenance of gardens

The landscape activities involve:

This is a family run business wherein designing ideas by the proprietor is translated into AutoCAD drawings by

his son.

We have carried out many prestigious jobs in Goa, like Taj Exotica and Tata Housing, both of which had been

designed by Belt Colins, Singapore. However, we had to modify the planting scheme to suit local conditions.

As regards Tata Housing, being a Consultant, the entire landscape design of Belt Colins was modified by me,

especially to include terrace planting.

Plant Hire on monthly routine monthly basis is being carried out at the following Hotels, Banks and Offices in

Cavelossim, Hiralal – Vasco, IDBI Bank – Margao etc.

Floriculture Projects (Anthuriums & Orchids)

We have commissioned 2 projects on Cultivation of Anthuriums and Orchids. We were the first to introduce

greenhouse technology for year round production of plants. We have perfected the art of growing healthy and

attractive indoor and outdoor plants. These plants are produced in greenhouses and acclimatized to Indoor /

outdoor environment under agri shade net prior to sale. Product mix is continually updated to satisfy customer's

preference.

Greenhouse Constructions

We have set up two Greenhouses, with indigenous technology, for Goa Horticultural Corporation at their farm

at Chimbel on a turnkey basis. A huge Greenhouse (400 m2) has been constructed by us for Sesa Goa at their

Codli Mines. Besides, 6 Greenhouses / Agri shade houses have been set up at our Nursery (Seraulim) and our

Farm (Mollem). Many more Greenhouse constructions have been earmarked.

Farm

We have a 10 acre agriculture farm here in Goa. The main activities at this farm include: 1) Propagation and

development of landscape & Nursery plants 2) Coconut and arecanut plantations 3) Floriculture projects. All

flowering and ornamental plants are produced here in Greenhouses etc. Today, we are in a position to execute

any landscaping job at very short notice, and complete the same in a record time. The farm is therefore our

strength.

of plants and meeting deadlines on landscapes. Our sales staff and customer service team work to ensure that

the customers get right information on the plants they need.
