Reorganization of the Secretariat/DepartmentReorganization of the Secretariat/Department

CAPACITY BUILDINGEnhanced capabilities of NMHSs in developing countries,

in particular LDCs, to fulfill their mandates (ER 9 )

• Assisting in capacity building through the regional technical conferences, seminars and workshops to improve, strengthen and keep up-to-date the managerial skills and expert knowledge of NMHSs in the Regions

• Assisting in capacity building through the regional training events

• Awareness creation and promotion of the activities of NMHSs and WMO through the technical experts of the Secretariat

• Advisory services for urgent requirements from developing countries and provide advice and guidance to member countries through the provision of expert services
