We won.Now what?1st rules? Why have rules at all?

School Board decides students will elect a new principal and it will be a student from now on. No more Julie, Kim, bus scheduler, nurse, building maintenance supervisor to fix heaters, floods, etc.

Who paid for firearms, food, tents, horses, canons, ships, wagons, doctors pay, soldiers pay, uniforms, etc. ????

How does the government collect the money? From whom?? Are people the only place income comes from to pay for things?

Can states be taxed?? On what?? Tariffs on neighboring states allowed so more people buy our stuff???? How will the people and states pay??? With what????

How do we deal with foreign countries who would love for us to fail and then they would take us over???? Do we have someone go talk to them about that?? Who?? How are we going to pay them??? How do we fire them if they are bad at their job? Are we going to trade with other countries? What if they ask us to help THEM in a war??

How about the Indians?? Are we going to let people settle on their land? What if they fight back?

The Articles didnt work well with all these questions. So then what happened? So they started over and wrote the Constitution we know today.

NOW WHAT??? Everyone was soooo excited to start this new country!!!! The Constitution was signed and we have a President

First President- Washington was well aware that he had been given the power to shape the American presidency. "I walk on untrodden ground," was a frequent comment he made in the days leading up to his first inauguration.

What should we call him???"His Highness, the Protector of Our Liberties," Washington recommended the more democratic "Mr. President."

Who will you invite to dinner? Will they bow, shake your hand, or hug you?What if they ask you for a loan?

Who will help him?? He cant do it all himself!! Have Washington choose his advisors. Then look at p. 278

Are they going to follow the Constitution strictly or can the President, do something not specifically spelled out in the Constitutions rules??
