Role Play on May 3rd 2017 for Ist MBBS (2016-17 Batch)

Department of Physiology, Meenakshi Medical College, organized the “Role

Play” on 03.05.2017 between 2.00 to 4.00 pm for the I MBBS (2016-2017 batch)

students on the following 6 important clinical aspects in Physiology:

1. MYASTHENIA GRAVIS

2. MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION

3. BRONCHIAL ASTHMA

4. INFERTILITY

5. MYXOEDEMA

6. DIABETES MELLITUS

Each of the Faculty of Physiology Department was given incharge for one group.

The role play was conducted in the CME Hall.

Faculties from the Department of Physiology and other faculties from the

Dept. of Anatomy & Biochemistry also attended the role play.

Each team consists of around 12 students.

The students actively participated in the role play by playing a skit with the

power point presentation at the end of each play.

At the end of the role play, the Vice Principal, Prof. & H.O.D., Dept. of

Physiology, Prof.Dr. M. Chandrasekhar gave the comments and appreciated

the students for their performance.

Prizes and Certificates were awarded for the following categories [Best

Narrator, Best male actor, Best female actor, Best Doctor & Best Presenter].

The MYXOEDEMA team won the First Prize.

The role play ended with the Vote of Thanks by the students.

Best Narrator award was given to Ms.Zailo for her narration on Infertility
