Baliza Service Pedestals – A world firstOur industry-leading Baliza range allows water andelectricity to co-exist together in the same pedestal- while ensuring they are completely separated.

These pedestals offer four separate compartments, eachwith a service and cable/pipe entry point. All can beworked on or maintained safely and indepently.

Should a water leak occur, the water will simply run outof the bottom of the water pods and never come intocontact with any electrical components.

Our Baliza pedestals feature a UV stabilised finish andare made from high-density polyethylene material –ensuring they are hard-wearing products which canstand up to the elements.

Made from 304 stainless steel powder coated and lacquered - this sturdy corrosiveresistant, discreet and lockable unit is ideal for clients wanting their pontoons clearof obstacles but still offering a certain degree of services to users.

The smartcard meter has a built-in electricalcontactor that automatically switches on/off theelectric supply as credit is available or expires, andthe meter will refund any unused credit back to thecard. It can control 16amp, 32amp or 63ampsingle phase supplies.

Smartcard meters are an ideal solution for anymarina, boatyard or waterfront location that doesnot have the wanting or capacity to install datacable or a networked management system, it only requires a normal electric supply.

Marina Illumimation – Whilst conventional lighting presently remains an option available alongwith LED for our Classic pedestal range, energy efficient LEDs are provided across our Baliza,Spinnaker, Seawave, Megamaster and Roline ranges as standard when lighting is requested.

Pedestal LED lighting colour options include white, blue, red, amber and green.

Emergency Service Equipment – One of the mostimportant roles of any marina operator is to ensurecustomer safety. Rolec offers a comprehensive andpopular range of emergency service equipment to suitevery budget and location. From simple low levelcabinets housing just an extinguisher, first aid kit andlife-buoy, to sophisticated units offering all of thesewith the addition of a fire hydrant, alarm system,warning beacons, etc.

Our Classic, Spinnaker, Seawave and Baliza pedestalranges all offer an emergency service pedestal option -allowing your chosen pedestal profile to remainconsistent across any project. Our Classic and Balizapedestals each offer options including fire extinguisher,life buoy, first aid kit, and illumination, while ourSeawave and Spinnaker pedestals also offer theseservices as well as options for fire blankets, alarms,xenon beacons, axes, etc.

Fire hydrants can be offered in the form ofPolycarbonate, stainless steel or GRP units andcan be tailored to suit an array of emergencyservice requirements.

Our basic life buoy stands are ideal for remotewaterside locations where only the bare minimumof services can be offered due to lack of security -but where safety still needs to be a consideration.

After our emergency service pedestal ranges, ourmost popular emergency service product is theRolec fire caddy. This is a mobile firefighting unitwhich uses sea water mixed with a biodegradablefoam to extinguish boat fires. Without therequirement for an expensive water pipeworksystem, the fire caddy is a cost-effective solutionfor any marina’s firefighting needs.

Sanitation Pump-out – We offer acomprehensive range of free-to-use and pay-to-use sanitation and bilge pump-out systems, froma simple communal pump-out pedestal tomultiple in-berth pump-out systems.

We offer an array of high quality, lowmaintenance pumps which are specified to suiteach marina’s individual pump-out requirementsand circumstances - with pumping distanceabilities that range from 5 metres to 500 metres.

Pump-out solutions can be provided via ourClassic, Sewave and Spinnaker pedestal rangesand Megamaster units.

Distribution Systems – One of the most importantelements of a marina, and usually the most expensive,is its electrical distribution system. Rolec’s many yearsof experience in designing efficient marina electricaldistribution systems is second to none.

Our design engineers take into consideration factorssuch as boat traffic and types, local markets andtrends, local regulations, climate and conditions. All ofthese factors contribute to creating an efficient androbust electrical system.

Our electrical shore isolation panels and distributionpanels are manufactured on a project-to-project basisto a client’s exact requirements, and are available inGRP, aluminium and stainless steel.
