1 On Kay 7 I was aerving 8S Chief Signalman on board the USS SIMS We were employed oonvoying the US Navy Tanker NEOSHO when attaoked by Japanese planes bombed and sunk After several days we were pieked up by the USS lIElLEY sod while enrOllt to Brisbane Australia I prepared a r~port which I gave to the Commanding Officer of the USS IEOSHO who had been taken off by the USS HENlEY
