Planning and Decision-Making Process The board shall adopt a policy to establish a

district and campus level planning and decision making process that will involve the professional staff of the district, parents, and community members in establishing and reviewing the district’s and campuses’ educational plans, goals, performance objectives, and major classroom instructional programs.

A person who stands in parental relation to a student.

Employees of the district are NOT considered parent representatives on the team.

Parents are NOT considered representatives of community members on the team.

established to ensure that systematic communication measures are in place to periodically obtain broad-based community, parent, and staff input to district and campus level committees.

Ensures that an evaluation of the effectiveness of the district’s decision-making and planning policies, procedures, and staff development activities are effectively structured to positively impact student performance occurs at least every two years.

The principal must regularly consult the campus-level committee in the planning, operation, supervision and evaluation of the campus educational program.

Ensure that each year, after receipt of the annual campus rating from the Agency, the campus level committee holds at least one public meeting.
