    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF EXAM CELL

    Paper Setting

    1. To provide paper format to departments to distribute to each faculty with a deadline for submission.

    2. Paper typing and get them verified by faculties for printing.Done at department level

    Exam Conduction1. Preparation of Time table, Invigilation duty chart, Seating Arrangement in the Examination halls etc. and

    display/convey to appropriate place/member.

    2. To appoint internal Flying Squad, Supervisors and other human resources for smooth conduction of

    examination in the College.

    3. Ensuring on-time reporting of faculty in exam cell, opening and closing of examination-rooms and

    availability of adequate stationery, like answer sheets, drawing sheets, charts, graph paper, drawing

    boards.

    4. Collection of reports from each examination-room and prepare a consolidated report regarding students

    Appear/Absent for each paper of each class and submit it to HODs and Director.

    5. After completion of examination, distribution of Answer books to the concerned teachers and receiving

    the answer books and award list, and preparing in the desired format within a predefined deadline

    6. Prepare cumulative result for each branch/section and provide it to HODs for analysis for follow-up

    action.7. After declaration of results, the Exam Cell shall display notice inviting students who desire a re-

    totaling/revaluation of their answer sheets.

    RTU Exams

    1. To make examinations-forms available to students and collect filled-forms with fees and send them to

    university (Accounts-section).

    2. Collecting JIT students admit cards and distribute them through accounts office.

    3. Collecting students admit cards who are supposed to appear in the college (JITs as exam-centre).

    4. Prepare seating plan and put a sticker of roll no. at specific bench and display the seating arrangement

    outside room and also at entry gate.

    5. Make duty plan and ensure faculty reporting at least 30 minutes before exam and provide them

    examination sheets with seating plan and display the regulations for invigilators.6.

    Make a folder of papers for each room and distribute them to invigilators before 5 minutes of start of

    exam.

    7. Opening and closing of examination-rooms and availability of required stationery like answer sheets,

    drawing sheets, charts, graph paper, drawing boards, RTU bar-code, RTU student entry sheet etc.

    8. Collection of students entry sheet after 30 minutes of start of exam.

    9. Collection of copies (after counting according to statement) and collecting the statements of each room .

    10. Prepare the bunch of RTU copies as per paper-name and arranged according to the roll numbers.

    11.

    Sealing of copies bunch and pasting a statement on packed bundle.

    12. Make data entry regarding absentees and present candidates and send it to university.

    Mid-term Marks

    1. Make data-entry of students for internal marks in each subject (theory and lab) along with other marks

    after taking them from department.

    2. Mail the finalized marks to the university.

    After Result Declaration

    1. Download the result of each student and take print to make a file semester and year-wise.

    2. After getting the original mark-sheet from university, distribute them to students.
