Adelaide will play host to more than 3000 young Catholics from around the nation when the second annual Australian Catholic Youth Festival is held this week.

The festival is a unique and contemporary celebration which includes concerts, workshops, social events, forums and worship.

To be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from Thursday December 3 to Saturday December 5, the Adelaide Festival will feature international music artists, high profile speakers from across Australia and Church leaders, including 16 bishops.

Music performers include Aria award-winning and multi-platinum recording artist Gary Pinto, X Factor contestant Fr Rob Galea and Perth-born singer and songwriter Natasha who has toured with Boyz II Men and Pink.

Among the impressive list of speakers and workshop presenters is headline act Jason Evert who has spoken to more than one million people on six continents about the virtues of chastity.
