Everyone 18 years of age and older are invited to our next gathering at the Byron Legion on

Tuesday May 28th at 7:00 PM, when we welcome Sr. Sue Wilson!! Sr. Sue Wilson will

be speaking on the issue of Social Justice. Sr. Sue is a former teacher, and a social justice advocate, lobbying government on poverty. She is involved in the London Poverty Research Centre and chair of a local anti-human-trafficking coalition. All are welcome!!! Remember - we have free food!!!

PARISH DISCIPLESHIP AWARD It is not too late to apply for the Parish Discipleship Award! This award is to recognize outstanding Ca tho l i c s t uden t s who have

demonstrated discipleship within St. George Parish and

carried this discipleship into the community at large. Applicants must be in their final year of high school with post-secondary plans of employment, apprenticeship, college or university, attends Mass regularly and demonstrates their discipleship through active involvement in their parish, school and community. Applications are available at the Info Centre or on the parish website and will be accepted until May 31st.

GRIEVING WITH GREAT HOPE WORKSHOP SERIES Everyone who is grieving the

death of a recent or long ago spouse, family member or friend is invited to attend one of three rounds of a wonderful and

powerful bereavement series hosted by the St. George Bereavement Team. This series is a six week grief workshop

REGISTER FOR SUMMER CAMP TODAY!!! Our annual Summer Kids Camp takes place from Monday July 29 to Friday August 2.

(Mon. to Thurs. 9 AM to 3:30 PM). The Friday wrap up event goes from 9:00 to 12 noon ending with a wonderful BBQ lunch hosted by the Knights. CAMP IS OPEN TO youth going into Grade 1 to Grade 8 in September 2019.

The grade 7/8 campers will be trained as camp leaders.

CAMP COSTS $75 per camper or $150 per family. THE

CAMP IS IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS! we are looking for volunteers from those entering high school in September and up!! You can register as a volunteer at the parish web-site. Training takes place July 24-26 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Register today by going to www.stgeorgelondon.ca
