Sr. Sue Wilson will be speaking on the issue of Social Justice. Sr. Sue is a former teacher, and a social justice advocate, lobbying government on poverty. She is involved in the London Poverty Research Centre and chair of a local anti-human-trafficking coalition. All are welcome!!! Remember - we have free food!!! PARISH DISCIPLESHIP AWARD It is not too late to apply for the Parish Discipleship Award! This award is to recognize outstanding Catholic students who have demonstrated discipleship within St. George Parish and carried this discipleship into the community at large. Applicants must be in their final year of high school with post- secondary plans of employment, apprenticeship, college or university, attends Mass regularly and demonstrates their discipleship through active involvement in their parish, school and community. Applications are available at the Info Centre or on the parish website and will be accepted until May 31st.
