They hate each other and they fight constantly.

The Prince of Verona doesn´t like fights.He is furious!

Prince

If ever you disturb our

streets again,Your lives shall pay the forfeit of the peace.

Lord Capulet is throwing a costume party.

Gentle Romeo, we must have you dance !

Lord Capulet´s daughter, Juliet, is at the party.

Romeo meets Juliet andhe falls in love with her.

They find out that their families are enemies,but they are in love. Romeo visits Juliet´s balcony.

But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

The next morning Romeo goes to visit Friar Lawrence. He asks him to marry them in secret. The priest thinks thatthis wedding might help stop the fighting.

Holy church incorporate two in one.

Romeo and Juliet are married. Romeo goes to look for Benvolio and his friend Mercutio to tell them the good news.

He finds them at the market square fighting with Tybalt, Juliet´s cousin, he is angry and challenges Romeo to a duel, but Romeo refuses, he is his wife´s family.

Romeo, the hate I bear thee can

affordNo better term

than this, thou art a villain.

Then Mercutio, Romeo´s friend, challenges Tybalt to a duel, but Tybalt kills him.

Tybalt, you rat-catcher

Will you walk?

Romeo is furious and he kills Tybalt. He has to run away, because the Prince is coming.

When the Prince finds out, he banishes Romeo to death, he can´t live in Verona anymore.

Romeo has to leave Verona and Juliet can´t go with him.

He goes to see Juliet one more time.

Lord Capulet wants Juliet to marry Count Paris, but she loves Romeo and she can´t tell!

She is desperate. She goes to Friar Lawrece to ask for help.

He gives her a potion that will make her look dead, everyone will think she is dead and Romeo will come to get her. They will live together and no one will ever know.

Romeo, I come! this do I drink to thee.

The Nurse finds Juliet.

Friar Lawrence sends a letter to Romeo, informing him about the plan.

But, before he gets the letter, a friend tells her about Juliet´s dead, he thinks that Juliet is really dead!

He buys the strongest killing potion he can find. He doesn´t want to live without Juliet!

He wants to die with her love, so he goes to Verona to die next to Juliet.

Romeo drinks the potion.

When Juliet wakes up it´s too late, she finds Romeo dead.

She takes Romeo´s dagger and kills herself.

Friar Lawrence receives his letter back. Romeo didn´t get it!

But when he gets there it´s too late.

The families see that their children have paid the price for their feud, and they decide to become friends.
