CONCEPTThe design concept is focused on one of the most famous scene of Shakespear’s work, that is the “ balcony scene “ : Romeo, below, and Juliet ,upward, confess their love each other, three stairs divide and join two lovers and the moon spies it in silence. The scene is mainly synthesized with the use of a symbolic element like triangle, and it’s enclosed into a pointed arch, that remembers the decorative details on Juliet’s house balcony. The elements are placed on three different levels of depth, with the porpose to recreate the theatrical backdrops overlap. This effect is made by the use of the pressing technique on the arch and Romeo and Juliet, and the embossing technique for the moon and the diagonal line. In this way , when the wine lover holds the bottle in his hand, the tactile experience is emphasized.
