Mark Your Calendars - you won’t want to miss our final event!

Wind Up Dinner Join us for an evening of great food, fun, and reminiscing as we wind up the season. The date is Sept 9th at the Sundre Legion. Doors open at 4:00, with the cocktail hour starting at 4:30 followed by the supper at 5:30. The event provides a great opportunity to remember the funs times from the season, and say ‘see you next season’ to your neighbours. Tickets are available at the office, and will go on sale August 12th.

Classified Looking to Buy something? Then you will want to check out the bulletin board across from the garbage bins. Here you’ll find various various items being offered by your Rosewood neighbours. And don’t forget to check back frequently as the items posted move quickly.

Looking to Sell something? Make up as small (8.5x11) poster/typed advertisement and bring it to the office - we’ll be happy to post it on our community bulletin board for you. As a heads-up, the park is moving away from having private ‘For Sale’ signs posted on the individual sites. If you presently have a ‘For Sale’ sign on your site, we ask that you take it down. If the target buyer for your item is a Rosewood neighbour, then the best place to advertise is on the bulletin board. If the target buyer is from outside the park, we suggest posting the item on an on-line marketing site (ie Kijiji, Craigslist, LetGo) as we have no drive-by traffic in the park, and your item will not be getting the exposure it needs.

Sports The 2017 Nine and Dine Golf Tournament was a huge hit again! A loud ‘golf clap’ to

Jim and Charlie for all their hard work in organizing the event.

“Charlie and I (Jim) would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the golf tournament as well as all the dinner guests. Without your participation, it would not have been such a large success.

As well, to the folks that generously donated prizes for the tournament, a great and hearty Thank-You! They are the following: Mike and Joan Weatherbee, Tressa Eidsness, Lina Code, Dave and lInda Sloane, Tom and Cathy Leteta, Brian and Judy Jassman, and Karen and Tim Sabo.

Also a huge shout-out to Gord Nelson for taking pictures and capturing the finer moments with the winners, and to Jim and Delores Bolin, for the engraving of all the trophies.

We hope to see everyone again next year. We do not have a date set, but will keep you informed when we do. Again, we hope everyone had a great time!

Till we see you again - have a great summer!

Jim Charlie
