Cyprus Friendship Program

Rotarian CassieCleverly was

accompanied by

co-ordinators and

alumni of the

Cyprus Friendship

Program, when

she paid our Club

a visit on October15th.

Rtn Cassie explained that the programme,

now in its sixth year, is an all volunteer

peace building bi-communal project for the

young people of Cyprus and their families.

The aim is to create relaonships of friend-

shipand trustbetween teens from the two

communies, and replace prejudice with

hope.

Fellowship Weekend

Mustafa Toros and Ala Ber-

miee organised another enjoya-

ble weekend away in support of

local tourism with a visit to Yesili-

mark on October 25th & 26th.More fellowship tours are

planned this Rotary year, with

proposed trips to Turkey and Italy.

Our Twin Club, Mersin, will be making a fellowship visit to Kyrenia at the end of the month, and

the Service Commiee will be arranging a Dinner to welcome them. Mustafa Toros and Ala Ber-

beroglu will let Rotarians know the details when they are conrmed.

Club Assembly and Elecons of Club President and Ocers for 2016-17 will take place on Decem-

ber 10th. All Rotarians are asked to make a special eort to aend this important meeng.

The Club End of Year Party will be on Sunday 28thDecember at the Dome. Please invite family and

friends to this party, and reassure them no Rotary speeches will be made!
