Process Engineer As a process engineer I am currently rotating

through each of the major departments (Paper Machines, Pulp Mill, and Powerhouse). Upon completion of the rotation I will be assigned to a specific department within the mill.

Some of my job responsibilities include: Planning and executing energy and cost-saving

projects

Coordinating trials and outages

Developing material to aid in training operators on new procedures

Using various computer systems and tools to perform data analysis

Running lab tests on samples from the process for quality analysis

The road to success is filled with potholes, pit

falls, and unplanned shutdowns. Some of the best

lessons I have learned have been through the

mistakes I’ve made.

At some point you have to make a decision. Don’t

be afraid of making mistakes, they will make you

stronger.
