EXHAUST SYSTEM APPEARANCE CHARACTERISTICS (NON-WARRANTABLE): ROUSH uses a 409-stainless steel alloy to produce our exhaust system. This is a commonly used alloy in modern OEM

exhaust systems. 409SS is selected specifically for exhaust systems to combat oxidation and corrosion in harsh

environments (exposure to water, salt, road grime, engine exhaust by-products, etc.) while dealing with the extreme thermal

cycles of automotive exhaust systems. As exhaust systems are located beneath the vehicle, 409 is not considered an

appearance grade of stainless steel. As such, once exposed to the environment and multiple heating cycles, 409SS will

turn a gold, reddish-brown color and will also develop a light surface rust. It is important to note that this condition is

considered normal, does not adversely affect material function and is not warrantable. A bright polished finish can be

restored through the use of cleaning and scouring pads and/or polishing compounds, although this level of maintenance

would need to be done on an ongoing basis if this level of luster is desired. It is also important to note that areas around

welded joints will exhibit additional discoloration and localized corrosion due to their exposure to extreme heat during the

welding process. This is also considered normal and does not need to be cause for concern.

CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS

This warranty is valid only in the United States and Canada. Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages or the duration of implied warranties or conditions so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state or province. The laws of the state of Michigan (excluding its conflict of laws provisions) will govern this warranty. The U.N. Convention for the International Sales of Goods will not apply.

LIMITED POWERTRAIN WARRANTY 2018+ Vehicles

Welcome to the Roush Family! Thank you for your purchase. Roush Performance takes pride in our vehicles and products and wants your customer experience to be a positive one. If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please call 1-800-59-ROUSH. A representative from our Customer Service team would be happy to provide assistance. If you need help finding an authorized service or parts dealer, please visit: http://www.roushperformance.com/help/dealersearch.html DID YOU KNOW?

• Modifying your vehicle may void your Limited Powertrain Warranty? Please consult ROUSH warranty prior to making any modifications.

• Altering wheel and/or tire size beyond factory allowable specifications is not recommended. Doing so may cause your vehicle to experience a lack of performance and/or check engine light(s). Ensuring the correct tire size (rev/mile) has been accounted for inside the PCM/BCM is critical to normal vehicle function. This information must be updated using proper service tools by a certified installer/dealer prior to driving any vehicle with an altered wheel and/or tire combination.

• Aftermarket clutches and/or flywheels are not recommended with Roush calibrations. Choosing to do so may require a custom, non-Roush calibration at your expense and it will void your Limited Powertrain Warranty.

• Within 30 days of Supercharger or Performance Pac installation, your warranty card must be sent to Roush for vehicle registration. Warranty is only applicable to original purchaser of the kit and is non-transferrable.

• Regular Ford service intervals and fluids are recommended after installation of the Supercharger or Performance Pac. Make sure you use the correct engine oil for your application.

o Performance Pac 3.5L Ecoboost F-150s, Raptor and base, along with 2018+ Supercharged 5.0L Mustangs and F-150s require 5W-50 engine oil.

WARRANTY ACTIVATION/PURCHASE To activate this warranty, you must send the registration card to ROUSH Customer Service. Your completed form can be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to the address on the form (page 4 of this document). Warranty documentation must be sent within THIRTY (30) days of the service order installation date identified on your installation receipt. WHO IS COVERED ROUSH's warranty obligations for the Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s) identified above is limited to the original owner of the vehicle in which the Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s) is installed and who has submitted proper documentation in order to activate this warranty. This warranty is not transferable to a second owner and is secondary to all other warranties and manufacturers’ recall that may be in effect. The term “Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s)” as used in this warranty applies to each Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger identified above. WARRANTY PERIOD The Warranty Period for all kits listed above is as follows:

• 3 years or 36,000 miles from the vehicle’s original in-service date as determined by Ford dealer OASIS (On-Line Service Information System) report.

WARRANTY COVERAGE When a Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s) is correctly and completely installed by a certified Ford automotive technician or automotive service technician certified by the Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) on an eligible, legally registered and licensed vehicle with an operational odometer, ROUSH will cover defects in materials and workmanship during the Warranty Period, as solely determined by us. Below are those vehicle components covered and not covered under this warranty:

• ENGINE COMPONENTS COVERED: Pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshaft and bearings, connecting rods and bearings, camshafts and bearings, timing chain and gears, intake/exhaust valves and seals, valve springs, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, rocker arm shafts, and lifters. If a failure of any of these parts damages either the engine block or cylinder heads, a remanufactured long block assembly will be provided up to the maximum coverage of $7500.00. NON-COVERED: Those engine components specifically not listed including, but not limited to, parts, filters, etc., that are required to be replaced as a part of the vehicle’s normal maintenance schedule are not covered under this warranty.

• TRANSMISSION COMPONENTS

COVERED: Torque converter, oil pump, governor, bands, drums, planetaries, shaft(s), sprag(s), bearings, shift rail(s), fork(s), and synchronizers. NON-COVERED: All-wheel drive vehicles are excluded from transmission coverages under this Warranty. Failure of related parts external to the transmission that cause a transmission claim, including but not limited to, transmission coolers, levers, controls, etc., void coverage under this warranty.

• REAR AXLE COMPONENTS COVERED: Rear axle, ring gear, drive pinion, pinion shaft, side gears, bearings, bearing cap, washers, slinger, axle shaft, housing and housing cover.

• TRANSFER CASE COMPONENTS

COVERED: All internally lubricated parts of the transfer case are covered under this warranty. NON-COVERED: The transfer case housing is not covered under this warranty.

When you present us with a valid, properly documented warranty claim during the Warranty Period, ROUSH will replace the defective component(s) covered by this warranty or, at our option and sole discretion, refund the purchase price you paid for the particular Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s) purchased. We reserve the right to improve or modify the Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s) without assuming any obligation to update or replace any previously manufactured or sold Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s). OUR TOTAL LIABILITY PER COVERED VEHICLE UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO $11,500.00 (AGGREGATE). EACH COVERED COMPONENT HAS ITS OWN AGGREGATE VALUE WHICH WHEN COMBINED EQUALS THE TOTAL LIABILITY PER VEHICLE. THE ENGINE IS COVERED FOR $7500.00, $2000.00 PER TRANSMISSION, AND $1000.00 PER REAR AXLE. VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A TRANSFER CASE RECEIVE $1,000.00 COVERAGE ON THESE COMPONENTS. VEHICLES WITHOUT A TRANSFER CASE FORFEIT ANY CASH REFUNDS OR REPAIR CREDITS. THESE AMOUNTS CANNOT BE COMBINED TOGETHER TO AID IN THE REPAIR OF ANOTHER COVERED COMPONENT. IN THE RARE CASE WHEN THE REPAIR COST EXCEEDS THE ACTUAL CASH VALUE OF THE VEHICLE, WE WILL REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PERFORMANCE PAC®/ROUSHCHARGER®/SUPERCHARGER KIT(S) ONCE THE COMPLETE KIT IS RETURNED PREPAID TO US. A replacement Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s) or component(s) that has been installed in accordance with our instructions, assumes the remaining warranty of the original replaced. If a Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s) or any of its component(s) is exchanged, the replacement becomes your property and the returned Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s) or component(s) becomes our property. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER/EXCLUSIONS/LIMITATIONS: TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND ITS REMEDIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. AS PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROUSH® SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS. IF ROUSH® CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM ANY STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD AND THE WARRANTY COVERAGE DESCRIBED HEREIN. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROUSH® IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS), LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF EARNINGS; PERSONAL DAMAGES; PERSONAL INJURY INCLUDING DEATH; PERSONAL EXPENSES (FOOD, ROOM, MEDICAL, DENTAL); RENTAL VEHICLE EXPENSES; TOWING; STORAGE OR ANY OTHER LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF THE VEHICLE ON OR IN WHICH THE ROUSHCHARGER®(S)/SUPERCAHRGER(S) IS INSTALLED OR OTHER PROPERTY. OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE

• To obtain warranty service on your vehicle upfitted with the Performance Pac®/ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger Kit(s), the vehicle must have an operational odometer and have maintenance services performed at the intervals as stated in the Ford Motor Company’s vehicle maintenance schedule, either at a Ford dealership or commercial maintenance center. You must present these invoices in the unlikely event of a warranty claim; therefore, we strongly recommend that you retain them for your records.

• You must submit copies of the following documents with your warranty claim: (a) your warranty registration form, (b) the receipt showing installation of the ROUSHcharger®/Supercharger by a certified Ford Automotive Technician or ASE automotive service technician, and (c) all requested vehicle maintenance records.

• If a warranted component has failed, please contact us immediately at 1-800-59-ROUSH (1-800-597-6874). You must authorize the repair facility to tear down the component for inspection before we authorize the repair or replacement of a failed component covered by this warranty. • An ASE certified repair facility must complete the repair or replacement based on the written estimate they provide to us. We base labor rates for repair or replacement services on OEM labor time standards.
