Welcome to Q2Dear RetailerWelcome to Quarter 2, 2017 and the new Marketing Programmes Routes to Market Guide.Following Network feedback and working with the Retail Strategy Committee (RSC), we have further simplified and reduced the Routes to Market Guide and introduced a £249 Service plan, which covers the first 2 services for customers purchasing a new car on a Vauxhall Finance PCP or Vauxhall Leasing PCH contract up to 37 months.New Insignia and Crossland X are now included in the matrices to enable you to handle early customer enquiries and take orders for these two exciting new models. On the next page you will find a summary of enhancements and changes for both cars and commercial vehicles.If you have any questions at all on the Q2 Marketing Programmes, your Sales District Manager is available to support you.I wish you every success in Quarter 2 and I look forward to seeing many of you at the New Insignia / Crossland X launch.Good luck and good selling!

Car Programmes- New Insignia included in all matrices- New Crossland X included in all matrices- The new £249 Service Plan programme introduced - The new £249 Service Plan EMaC Evolve portal will be live from April 3, 2017- Upgrade Allowance offer continues, requirement of ADAM to ADAM, Corsa to

Upgrade Allowance when purchasing an eligible new ADAM, Corsa or Astra

Points (where eligible) • Customers must receive full discount. This must be shown on

the customer invoice as Vauxhall Upgrade Allowance • Only one Upgrade Allowance may be claimed per existing car • Only one Upgrade Allowance may be used per customer • The existing vehicle must be traded-in for the customer to be

eligible for this additional supportTerms and conditions: • At the date of the new vehicle order, the customer or

their Spouse/Partner/Parent/Child living at the same UK address must have been the registered keeper of the vehicle continuously for at least the last 90 days

• Vehicles registered in a Retailer’s own name are specifically excluded from Upgrade Allowance

• The new vehicle must be registered to the same address as shown on the V5C of the existing vehicle

• If the customer has moved address and not updated their V5C to their new address, then they must contact the DVLA to change their V5C before they place a new vehicle order. This is a DVLA requirement

Audit requirement: • The Retailer must retain the following documents: • Copy of the Vehicle Registration document (V5C) of the

customer’s existing car • Copy of new vehicle invoice and signed customer order • The Upgrade Allowance must be shown on the vehicle order

and invoice and the allowance must be passed on in full • Retailers wishing to use this allowance as an over allowance on

the part exchange must be able to clearly demonstrate how this allowance was used

CV Pack ProgrammeCustomer and Vehicle Eligibility

Pack support is only available on new Vauxhall Commercial vehicles.

Claims ProcedureRetailers have the option of taking either 5 unit, 15 unit or 30 unit Packs. The size of the Pack determines the call-off code (see previous page for details).If a Retailer starts calling off on a 5 unit Pack code, but ends up calling over 15 units, they will still only receive the 5 Pack support. There will be no concessions to this rule. Under no circumstances will a change of Pack code to a different volume be allowed.The allowances detailed are eligible on UNSOLD units registered in the applicable period.

Mixing van lines in CV Packs is permissible Retailers are not required to call-off all units at once, but it will remain the Retailer’s responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient units to complete a Pack within the required period. Units may be factory ordered or called-off from Pipeline, but if units are delayed it remains the Retailer’s responsibility to ensure all Packs are completed within the required period. It is required that no units are called-off with an Anticipated Delivery Date (ADD) later than 2 weeks before the end of the relevant quarter. Retailers are therefore strongly advised to take physical stock units where possible. If however, Retailers decide to call-off Pipeline or factory order vehicles, it is essential that potential availability is checked and confirmed against the weekly vehicle availability reports and that ADDs are carefully checked to be within the above timeline.

SupportThe per unit support steps up with Pack size. There is a separate call-off code for each Pack size. As support levels are based on Pack size, Retailers must think carefully in advance about how many units they aim to call-off and use the same call-off code for all units.Retailers may call-off more units than the quantities specified in the support matrix and will receive the same per unit support on those units. If however, Retailers call-off less than the specified number of units for the call-off code, they will not receive any support.

Administration DetailsPlease refer to Pack matrices for details of eligible units. In all instances, vehicles will form part of a Pack and where the minimum number of units required to complete that Pack are not taken, individual units will not attract the preferential terms of purchase.

CV Pack Programme– When ordering or calling a vehicle off locator, or securing an eligible operating stock

vehicle for this programme, the Retailer must enter the call-off code (see support matrix for relevant code) in the ‘fleet code’ field of Order Workbench. This will automatically make the vehicle sold and assign a predetermined postcode to the unit.

– Once the vehicle has been secured for this programme, the debit will take place as detailed below with no exceptions, i.e. the vehicle cannot be made unsold once the call-off code has been added. The call off code must therefore never be amended or removed. Any removal or change to the call-off code will invalidate the Pack support unless it is pre-agreed via the de-packing approval process. However, when registering the vehicle, the true customer postcode should be entered on Order Workbench.

N.B. Please retain a copy of the locator call-off sheet for your files which will assist with any payment discrepancies.The call-off code should not be attached to any unit which has already become fully paid or has a postcode assigned to it. Furthermore, units called-off or factory ordered as a sold unit without the Pack code cannot subsequently be used as a pack vehicle. It is a requirement that the customer postcode and relevant Pack code are both added at the time of placing a factory sold order. Any units which do not follow these rules will not be eligible for the Pack support.

FundingVehicles may be funded as the Retailer chooses, however, in order to facilitate this opportunity, Vauxhall Finance have created a simple and easily administered stocking programme that will fund unsold Pack units from the time of appropriation. The details are shown below. Once appropriation has taken place, all Pack vehicles may be funded through Vauxhall Finance on the following terms:Vehicles funded at wholesale value, including VAT Term: 90 daysRate: 90 day LIBOR plus: - Supporting Retailers: 3.69%, 4.19% or 4.69% depending on

status - Non-Supporting Retailers: Contact your Vauxhall Finance

Wholesale InsuranceVehicles will be covered by the Vauxhall Finance Wholesale Insurance Programme whilst outstanding on the Vauxhall Finance funding plan from the point of delivery to the Retailer’s appointed premises. Vehicles can be transferred onto this stocking plan using the Vauxhall Finance Wholesale online system or by faxing the appropriate form to the Vauxhall Finance Wholesale Service Centre on 0208 100 5228.This fax should be received one working day prior to appropriation.N.B. To ensure that Retailers have sufficient credit facilities in place, please contact the local Vauxhall Finance Asset / Commercial Manager to discuss credit requirements. Credit limits will be set in line with financial status.Packs called-off, appropriated and completed by the end of the month, will be paid on the 2nd run the following month.Removal of Pack Codes at Retailer Request

CV Pack ProgrammeAny Retailer requests for removal of Pack codes will only be agreed if processed as follows:

- Retailer to provide the following data electronically to CVDM for approval:- Retailer Name and Code- Contact name and phone number- SONO, model and Pack code of unit to be de-packed- SONO and model of substitute unit to be packed- CVDM will confirm approval of the request to the Retailer and Vauxhall

head office.- Vauxhall head office will remove the Pack code from the requested

unit. Removal of Pack codes by a Retailer is forbidden under any circumstances.

- Retailer must still comply with any minimum Pack volume requirements.- Retailer must call one extra van for each van Pack request. The applicable

conditions for this replacement unit are as follows:- Must be at Event 48 or later- Must not already be fully paid- Conditions for the de-packed unit are as follows:- Must have been called-off on a current period Pack code.

Units from previous periods cannot be de-packed.- Debit of the de-packed unit will not be reversed.- The de-packed unit can be registered as soon as CVDM approval is agreed.- De-packed units are eligible for any Retail programmes.- Variance or abuse of this process will leave the Retailer liable to the usual

Sold Order Verification administration charge of £500/unit.

Marketing Campaign EligibilityUnits in receipt of the Pack support are not eligible to receive any other form of Retail or Business support or derogation allowance. If any support is claimed, either directly via normal OSC code and fleet ID or indirectly via fleet end user requests to Vauxhall, the Pack allowance will be reversed (in cases where units are packaged together the allowance for the whole Pack will be reversed).It is the Retailer’s responsibility to advise an eligible Retail or Business customer of their option to choose either units with the Pack support or units without Pack support that will attract the usual Vauxhall programme support where applicable.

OSC CompletionUnits in receipt of the Pack allowance are not eligible to receive any other form of Retail or Business support (except Volume Bonus and applicable Retail below the line Programmes where eligible). However, as Pack allowances will be linked to the wholesale of the vehicle, subsequent registration of that vehicle and correct completion of the OSC is critical.Please ensure the sales and admin teams are fully aware of the following procedures:

- Upon registration, please complete the OSC and submit as normal entering OSC code YA only.

No other OSC codes should be entered (except for FORCE units where applicable).- If it is the Retailers wish to count the unit towards Retailers’ FORCE

minimum requirements, please use sales type 05 and enter G1 and YA on the OSC upon registration and G2 Upon de-fleeting the vehicle. This will ensure NO FORCE support will be paid on the unit. Only demonstrators should have OSC Code G1 applied to them and any units with OSC code G1 applied MUST be retained for the minimum retention period as per the latest FORCE Messenger

- Where the unit is sold to a Small Business customer running between 1-24 units (purchase only), please use sales type 09 and enter UNONE in the owner details fleet ID box, in conjunction with OSC code YA. The ‘real’ customer fleet code should not be entered in any circumstances as this may result in a reversal of all Pack support.

- Where the unit is sold to a ‘Business First’ customer please use sales type 13 and enter P907A in the owner details in conjunction with OSC code YA and BF and enter UMB2B in the end user details fleet ID box.

- If a Pack unit is required to be registered in the Retailers own name but not for FORCE use, please use sales type 09 (1-24 Business) and enter USELF in the owner details fleet ID box.

Transfer of Pack UnitsPack units are not subject to free release. Should a Retailer having taken a Pack unit wish to sell the unit to an authorised reseller, this is acceptable. However, Pack vehicles must not be transferred to another Retailer until after the unit has been appropriated against the original Retailer. Any transfers before appropriation will invalidate eligibility.However, it is the original owning Retailers responsibility to ensure no further marketing support is claimed on these units and the OSC is completed in accordance with the guidelines outlined above. For these reasons it is recommended that units wholesaled as part of this programme are not resold on to authorised resellers.
