HIGH POWER SOLDERING SYSTEM AUTO RF TEMPERATURE ADJUSTNO TEMPERATURE CONTROL?The PS900 is a unique iron in that it utilises magnetized solderingtips which lose their magnetic properties at a certain temperature(the Curie point).

What is Curie Heat Technology? As long as the tip ismagnetic, it clings to the heating element. At the designedtemperature, it loses contact, cooling down and precisely regulating temperature. This process is further improved in morecomplex irons such as those produced under the Oki brand, bycirculating a high frequency AC current throughthe tip, and using magnetic physics to direct heating only where the surface of the tip drops below the Curie point.
