c) ForanExServicemanwhohasoncejoinedaGovernmentjobonthecivilsideafteravailingofthebenefitsgiventohimasanExServiceman forhis reemployment,hisExServicemanstatus for thepurposeof reemployment inGovernmentceases.

d) DependentsofServicemenkilledinactionareeligibleforreservation.4.5%ofthetotalvacanciesarereservedforDisabled ExServiceman and dependents of Servicemen killed in action, clubbed together. First priority in thematter of appointmentwill be given to the Disabled ExServiceman and second prioritywill be given to two

dependentsofDefencepersonnel killed inactionor severelydisabled (withover50%disabilityattributable todefenceservices).For thepurposeof thisconcession, thememberof the familywould includehiswidow,son,daughter or his near relationswho agree to support his family. The relaxation in upper age and educationalqualifications available to ExServiceman/Disabled ExServiceman will not be available to Dependents ofServicemenkilledinaction.

(ii)OrthopedicallyHandicappedarethosewhohaveaphysicaldefectordeformitywhichcausesaninterferencewiththenormalfunctioningofthebones,musclesand joints.Thedegreeofdisabilityshouldbeminimum40% inthesecases.

(d)JobDescription:

Junior Engineer (Civil): Handling and supervision of civil construction/ maintenance/ interior works, etc. of buildingrelatedinfrastructuralsystemandotherrelatedjobsinofficebuildingsandresidentialcolonies.

Junior Engineer (Electrical): Handling and supervision of electrical/ electromechanical/ electrical and electronicsinstallations/systemsandotherrelatedjobsinofficebuildingandresidentialcolonies.

(e)Candidateshouldknowhowtoread/writeandspeakoneoftheOfficialLanguagesoftheState/UTintheZone.Somequestionsmaybeputinthelocallanguageatthetimeofinterview,toascertaintheleveloffamiliarityofthecandidateswith theoneoftheOfficialLanguageof theState/UT inthezone.CandidateshouldalsobeabletowriteandspeakEnglishfluently.

6.ExaminationCenters:

(i)TheexaminationwillbeconductedonlineinvenuesacrossmanycentresinIndia.ThelistofExaminationcentresisavailableinAnnexII.

(ii)TheBank,however,reservestherighttocancelanyoftheExaminationCentresand/oraddsomeotherCentres,dependingupontheresponse,administrativefeasibility,etc.

(iii)TheBankreservestherighttoallotthecandidatetoanycentreotherthantheonehe/shehasoptedforandacandidate may be allocated a centre of exam outside the State/UT/ Zone for which vacancies he/she isapplying.

(iv)CandidatewillappearfortheexaminationatanExaminationCentre/venue/session/dateathis/herownrisksandexpensesandtheBankwillnotberesponsibleforanyinjuryorlossesetc.ofanynature.

(v)NorequestforchangeofcentreforExaminationshallbeentertained.

a) Candidates are first required to go to RBI websitewww.rbi.org.in. On the Home Page click on the optionRecruitmentforthepostofJuniorEngineertoopentheOnLineApplicationForm.

b) CandidateswillhaveclickonClickhereforNewRegistrationlinktoregistertheirapplicationbyenteringtheirbasicinformationintheonlineapplicationform.Afterthataprovisionalregistrationnumberandpasswordwillbe generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisionalregistrationnumberandpassword.AnEmail&SMSindicatingtheProvisionalRegistrationnumberandPasswordwillalsobesent.TheycanreopenthesaveddatausingProvisionalregistrationnumberandpasswordandedittheparticulars,ifneeded.Basicinformationoncesavedcannotbeedited.

c) Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in theGuidelinesforScanningandUploadofPhotographandSignature(AnnexI)

8.GeneralRules/Instructions:

(xv)RBIwouldbeanalyzing the responses (answers)of individualcandidateswith thoseofothercandidates todetectpatternsof similarityof right andwronganswers. If in the analyticalprocedure adopted in this regard, it is inferred/concludedthattheresponseshavebeensharedandscoresobtainedarenotgenuine/valid,RBIreservesrighttocancelthecandidatureoftheconcernedcandidatesandtheresultofsuchcandidates(disqualified)willbewithheld.

(xvi)Canvassinginanyformwillbeadisqualification.

(xviii)Inallmattersregardingeligibility,conductofexaminations,interview,assessment,prescribingminimumqualifyingstandards inonlineexaminationand interview, in relation tonumberofvacanciesand communicationof result,RBIsdecisionshallbefinalandbindingonthecandidatesandnocorrespondenceshallbeentertainedinthisregard.

(xix)Thepossibilityforoccurrencesofsomeprobleminadministrationoftheexaminationcannotberuledoutcompletelywhichmayimpacttestdeliveryand/orresultfrombeinggenerated.Inthatevent,everyeffortwillbemadetorectifytheproblem, which may include shifting the candidates to the other centres or to conduct of another examination ifconsiderednecessary.DecisionofRBIinthisregardshallbefinal.Candidatesnotwillingtoacceptsuchchangeshallloosehis/hercandidatureforthisexam.

(xx)Iftheexaminationisheldinmorethanonesession,thescoresacrossvarioussessionswillbeequatedtoadjustforslightdifferencesindifficultylevelofdifferenttestbatteriesusedacrosssessions.Morethanonesessionarerequiredifthenodescapacityislessorsometechnicaldisruptiontakesplaceatanycentreorforanycandidate.

(xxi) Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises, where theexamination isbeing conducted.Any infringementof these instructions shallentaildisqualification includingban fromfutureexaminations.
