1,0 INTRODUCTION
During the month of October, 1981 ground Horizontal Loop EM and
magnetic surveys were carried out on the "AA" claim group in an attempt to
locate and define anomalour responses detected by an airborne INPUT EM survey.
2,0 LOCATION. ACCESS AND GRID
The property consists of four contiguous claims (K604137-140, claim
map M-2021, Kenora Mining Division) located on the northeast shore of Perrault
Lake and 55 air kilometers NNE of Vermilion Bay. Access to the property is
via Provincial Highway 105 and dirt road at the north end of Perrault Lake.
The 1.650 line kilometer grid consists of three picket lines con
trolled by a 0.3 kilometer Base line. Picket lines were established at 100
and 200 meter intervals with stations picketed every 25 meters.
3,0 PERSONNEL
The overall supervision of the Geophysical Program was under
L. Bradish, District Geophysicist while the day to day operations were super
vised by R. Swire, Geophysical Field Foreman. Various permanent and temporary
personnel assisted on the surveys as required.
4,0 INSTRUMENTATION
4.1 HORIZONTAL LOOP EM SYSTEM
The HLEM equipment employed on this survey was the MaxMin II unit,
Manufactured by Apex Parametrics of Toronto, Ontario. The survey parameters
used were as follows:

4.2 MAGNETOMETER
"Unimag" G.836 Proton Precession magnetometers manufactured by
Exploranium Geometrics of Ontario were utilized on this survey. The Total
Field measurements is read with a resolution of 10 gammas and all recorded
values were corrected for diurnal and day to day variations. The correction
values were determined from repeat readings taken at control stations which
are established at the intersection of the picket lines and the base line.
Readings were recorded at 25 meter intervals and plotted in plan at a datum
of 60,000 gammas.
5,0 GEOLOGY
No geology is available to date.
6,0 DISCUSSION OF RESULTS
A zone of high conductivity at depth (o*t ^ 100 Siemens, d s 50 m
at 444 Hz) was defined on two lines as seen on Figures 3 and 4. The source
was best located at L301E/300+95N and no magnetic signature is recorded
over the conductor.

Due to the Incomplete coverage of the claim group and because the line spacing exceeds 400 feet for a major portion of the survey, this survey may not be assessed under the "'Special Provisions" method.
Please complete and return the enclosed man-days breakdown form 1n duplicate listing the names and addresses of the employees and the dated that each man worked on the various phases of the survey. The survey will then be assessed under the provisions of subsection (9) of Section 77 of the Mining Act R.S.O. 1980.
