Description # l -Applies to three samples
Mesocratic norite with net textured to globby orthomagmatic sulphides; globs up to 3.5 cm with an apparent lineation; sulphides are pyrrohtite^^halcopyrite^^entlandite. Sulphides up to 15-1707o.
Magmatic susceptibility readings of the three samples are respectively 11, 12.5, 17.2.
Description # 2 -Applies to f our samples
Mesocratic olivine norite with net textured sulphides; sulphides lack apparent fabric; sulphides are pyrrohtite^^halcopyrite^-^pyrite. Sulphides up to ID-15%. Sample exhibits a marginal alteration zone l cm to 4 cm wide in which pyrrhotite is replaced by pyrite. Weathered zone is characterized by hematite-limonite development and base metal depletion.
Magmatic susceptibility readings of the four samples are 9.5, 9.0, 8.9, 10.
Magnatometer readings were taken by the following instrument:
