RRC provides a wide range of land surveying services, from commercial and industrial development to construction staking projects to oil and gas related surveys. We are currently authorized and registered to perform survey work in a number of states and continue to expand our offerings. All surveys are conducted under the direct supervision of our professional surveyors with extensive experience in the land surveying industry. RRC offers multiple services to the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry. RRC has been directly involved in many oil and gas related projects. Projects include the surveying of thousands of well locations and pipelines along with providing geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services resulting in numerous successful projects.

RRC is also associated with several contracting entities such as ISNetworld, PICs, and BROWZ. At RRC, we work with numerous contractors to perform QA/QC during construction, weld inspections, and design reviews. Project types include tank batteries, pump stations, compressor stations, and refineries. Consultation and assistance is provided through every step of your project, from development and management, to surveying and engineering.

Services Offered

Geodetic ControlA system of horizontal and/or vertical control stations established and adjusted by geodetic methods with the consideration of the shape and size of the earth (geoid) for the position computations included.

American Land Title Association (ALTA) Survey A land survey made for a title company and/or lender with the survey and location data needed to issue title or mortgage insurance. For this purpose, a map is drawn to ALTA specifications including boundary lines, location of main building including improvements, location of ancillary buildings, and the identification of easements (access rights by service companies such as water, gas, telephone, railways, and other utilities). Regulated by ALTA, the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), and the American Congress of Surveying and Mapping (ACSM), this survey guarantees requirements are met for an ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey.

GPS/GIS ServicesUsing global positioning systems, a GPS/GIS survey determines the location and relationship of existing topographic features for incorporation into geographic information systems. Typically, it is used by government entities and to acquire data for interactive mapping. It is also used by corporations and oil production companies to map their infrastructure, such as pipeline systems, well locations, and production facilities for internal records management.

3D Laser Scanning3D Laser Scanning is the process of using technology to produce a 3D model of a building, object, surface, or area. To perform this type of survey, a 3D laser scanner is used. The laser scans the desired object or area and produces point clouds and/or images.

Drone SurveyingUtilizing both multi-rotor and fixed wing Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) drones, RRC can produce a larger quantity of detailed data crucial to your surveying project. Compared to conventional survey methods, these results are produced faster and with superior detailed results.

Pile Plot PlansPlacing structural piles for various projects of any size requires extreme accuracy. At RRC, we provide that accuracy by combining Survey Grade Geomatics with our experience in structural and civil engineering. This unique combination differentiates our Pile Plot Plan services from our competitors.

Construction StakingBuilding a project in accordance with the engineer’s design is crucial to the success of any project. Construction Staking, or Site Layout Surveying, is the procedure of analyzing and understanding the engineering plans and marking the planned location on site based on the design. RRC offers the full spectrum of construction staking services including the staking of pads, wet and dry utilities, walls/fences, property/lot corners, mass grading, and verification surveys.
