Training Program

(1)The Bureau, either directly or through accreditedorganizations, shall conduct continuing programs toincrease the supply and competence of personnelqualied to carry out the provisions of this tandards!

(")The Bureau shall prescri#e the required trainingprograms, $hich shall, in consultation $ith the %&

Institute of &u#lic 'ealth, orld 'ealth rganization

and other technical societies, contain provisionsrequiring the incorporation into the training programsof the latest trends, practices and technology inoccupational safety and health!

103(%01& 9ualications of a afety onsultant

(1) - qualied safety consultant shall mean one $ho has #een a safetyand health practitioner for at least ve (:) years and has ta2en thenecessary training prescri#ed #y the Bureau!

(") afety practitioners $ith at least ten (1*) years of e7perience in allelds of occupational safety and health may not #e required toundergo the required training provided they secure from the Bureau acertication attesting to their competence to qualify as consultants!

(+) -ll safety consultants or consulting organizations, shall #e accredited#y the Bureau, and registered $ith the egional ;ce concerned!
