Each participant will be required to pay a $25 registration fee to enter the Blackjack Tournament. Tournament sessions are Wednesdays at 11am and Noon. 2. The Suncoast will guarantee a prize fund of $1,000. Based on the number of registered entries this prize fund may increase. 3. Winners will be determined by a combined total from two sessions of play. 4. First place will receive 50% of the prize fund. Second place will receive 20% of the prize fund. Third, fourth and fifth place will each receive 10% of the prize fund. Sixth and seventh place will each receive a $50 “Free Bet”. Eighth, ninth and tenth places will each receive a $25 “Free Bet”. 5. Entrants who have earned 100 base slot points or have a minimum of (1) hour of rated table play with an average bet of $5 may swipe at any kiosk for a voucher valid for (1) buffet at the St. Tropez Buffet, for any meal period which must be used with 24 hours of issuance. 6. All tournament play will be dealt from a six deck shoe, with standard hand signals for hitting or standing. (Dealers will be instructed to have a clear and distinguishable signal from the contestant). 7. No strategy cards will be permitted. 8. As an entrant, you will play in two (2) 20 hand sessions with $1000 in non-negotiable, non-redeemable tournament chips. 9. Entrants may pay a $5 dealer add-on for $250 additional Tournament Chips. 10. Players are not allowed to “Sit Out” any hands during tournament play. Minimum bet is $10. All bets should be in $10 increments with a maximum wager of $1000. A remaining $5 chip will be counted at face value for scoring only and may not be wagered in play. (In any case where “Breakage” occurs, it will be the house advantage and playoffs will be rounded to the closest possible increment). 11. All contestants should arrive at the tournament area for seating 10 minutes ahead of scheduled start times. A zero score will be given in those cases where the contestant was unable to participate. 12. Prior to play a Tournament Official will verify that all players are in the correct seats and ready to begin play. 13. Each round will consist of 20 hands. After completion of the 15th hand, and before the 16th hand, the dealer will count down each contestant’s chips in view of all other players at the table. No other formal count will occur until the conclusion of the 20th hand. It will be the contestant’s responsibility to estimate the other player’s bank. 14. A single roll of dice, by the dealer will determine the beginning first base position. Subsequent hands will be dealt with a rotating 1st base positioning going in a clockwise rotation. All bets should be wagered in turn beginning with 1st base, in a clockwise rotation from dealer. Once wagered, and placed in the betting area, no adjustments may be made to increase or decrease the original wager. 15. Suncoast’s normal splitting and doubling down rules will apply. 16. Any hand that meets the following criteria will result in the entire hand being burned: cards dealt out of order, customers or dealer receiving more or less than two cards. 17. Players are not to collaborate or consult with spectators, or assist in the decision making of other player’s hands that are currently in action. 18. Entries are non-transferable. 19. By participating in the promotion, winners hereby give their permission to Suncoast casino and any of its affiliated properties to use their names and images for promotional purposes without compensation. 20. Management reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time. 21. Employees of Suncoast casino and their immediate family are not eligible to participate in this promotion. 22. Accumulative winnings over $600 for the year will receive a 1099. 23. Any dispute or situation not covered by these rules shall be resolved by the property’s management in a manner that is fair to all parties.
