Rules for Lets Go Fishing

How to play? Using the fishing pole provided, try to hook 3 Toys.

Rules for Aim N Throw

How to play? Using the small sponge balls, aim them into the holes that are in Mr Sponge

Game Rules: The senior citizens are given a basket filled with sponge balls and try to at least ‘goal’ once. If no balls are scored, give words of support and say ‘Good job’. Sign against the game. Based on Participation.

Level of Difficulty: Different Labelling on the floor (Far) Medium

Different Labelling on the floor (Near) Easy

If the senior citizens can’t shoot into the holes, make them stand nearer and let them shoot a goal at least once.

If they want to play again, they would have to re-queue.

Rules for Water Ping Pong

How to play? Throw the colored ping pong into their respective bowls that are floating in the pool.

Game Rules: Throw the correct coloured ball into the correct coloured bowl. Finish the balls in the bowls provided If no balls are scored, give words of support and say ‘Good job’. Sign against the game. Based on Participation.

They can choose how near/far they want to be to the pool.

If they want to play again, they would have to re-queue.

Rules for Fun with Golf

How to play? Shoot the golf ball into the hole or post provided.

Game Rules: Shoot the Golf ball into the Hole or the post provided. [Score Once] If they keep missing on the hard one, don’t hesitate to refer them to the easier one. If they score a goal, sign against the game in the Game Card.

Level of Difficulty using : Carpet Grass with Hole Medium

Rules for Bowling Time

How to play? Using the bowling ball, knock down the bowling pins

Game Rules: Knock down 10 bottles using the balls provided. If all 10 balls get knocked down, sign against the game in the Game Card. If not, pass them back the ball to knock down the rest. Based on Participation.

If they didn’t deliver a shot, they may go nearer/ let them choose where they would want to stand.(Markings Provided)

If they want to play again, they would have to re-queue.

Rules for Shoot N Hoops

How to play? Several hoops are given to the player. The player will try to hoop as many bottles as they can.

Game Rules: Hoop at least 2 Bottles. Sign against the game in the Game Card.

Level of Difficulty: Stand nearer Easy

Stand Further Hard

If the senior citizens can’t hoop the bottles, let them stand nearer to the bottles to Hoop. (will be marked)

If they want to play again, they would have to re-queue.

Rules for Tin Can Shooting

How to play? Cans are lined into a pyramid form on the table. Knockout all the cans using water guns provided.

Game Rules: Shoot down the Cans. At least 3

Level of Difficulty: Stand nearer Hard

If the senior citizens can’t shoot the tins using the Water Gun, don’t hesitate to move them nearer to the line. (Will be marked)

If they want to play again, they would have to re-queue.

Rules for Heritage Games

How to play? Pick up Marbles – Transfer 5 marbles from one bowl to another. If it is hard for them, there would be a ladle for them to use. (Sign the Heritage Section in the Game Card) Congkak – Let them play for maximum 5 rounds and sign against the Heritage section in the Game Card Paper Ball – Let the seniors pass the ball at each other for at least 5 times and sign against the Heritage section in the Game Card Five Stones – Let the seniors finish playing the five stones and sign against the Heritage section in the Game Card Pick-up sticks – Get at least 3 seniors or add in the volunteers to play together and either win or lose sign against the Heritage section in the Game Card

Game Rules: Pick up marbles - Use chopsticks (Medium) or Ladle (Easy) only

If they want to play again, they would have to re-queue.

Rules for Classic Games

Tic Tac Toe – Ask the senior citizens whether they would want to play against their friends or against you (the volunteer). Puzzle – Show them the original copy and tell them to patch it back together. Snake & Ladder – Always show them which one is up and down. Label it somewhere so that it would be clear for the senior citizens Fun with Eggs - Throw the correct coloured ball into the correct coloured egg tray hole.

Game Rules: Let them choose which pictures they would want to colour.

What to do? Let the Senior Citizens choose what message they would want to hang on the tree. Tell them to sign and write a message on the back of the paper.

Post Event Survey. Ask them whether they would want to do the Post Event Survey. If they need help, read to them loudly in Chinese or English.
