• Project type: semi urban- rural project

• Rural trade centre is a small initiative towards smart villages

• Rural trade centre is a platform that provides equal

opportunities to the citizents of india (especially belonging to the

rural background ) to access their bussiness in their respective

fields( agriculture, dairy, poultry farming etc) and also share

their ideas and views with each other.

• Rural trade centre further provides financial as well as

institutional help for the same.

• Following aspects comes under rural trade centre:

Grain depot(silos)

Rural/ gramin bank;

Showrooms of agricultural

tools, equipments, & machenery

Vegetable market

Grain market

R & d labs

Plant nurseries

• destipte of all these factors farmers suicide rate is increasing

day by day ; bad crops , lack of storage, low rates are forcing

farmers to leave their occupations and move towards urban

settlements in search of better standards of living.

• Therefore its hard time now when

planners should start thinking about

smart villages also.

• Everyone in india is

talking about smart

cities , digital india but

within this race for

making urban life smart

we have forgotten that

still 55% of population

in india is employed on

agriculture, agriculture

adds nearly about 16%

to the gdp, also india is

among the top five

producers of

agriculture crops;

The site is in manesar , that experiences almost 8 monthes

of high temperature along with harsh sun rays therefore

provision of shed for pedestrian movement

Weighing bridge plays a very essential role

in smoothing of any industry,it is a

platform used to calculate the net weight

of the goods coming in heavy vehicle

Location of weighing bridge to

provide servicibility to various

markets, storage & industries is yet

another challenges on site

Solution to this

challenge was

found by centrally

erecting a weighing

tower which is

accessible from

each zones of the

site
