Dostoevsky OmSU charges tuition fees from
international students unless they receive the
governmental scholarship carried out by
Rossotrudnichestvo in the relevant representative
office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the
candidate's countries.
Each year, the Russian government allocates a certain number of state-
funded places at Russian universities for international
students who are willing to study in Russia.
According to the legislation of the Russian Federation the documents issued in another country can be used (can be
accepted by the Russian bodies and organizations) only with legalization. There are 2 types of legalizations – Consular
legalization and Apostille. To learn more about the legalization procedure, please visit

In order to apply for a degree program at Dostoevsky OmSU,
you should follow these steps

When filling out the application form, you will need to - upload the documents asked for in pdf format (see step 4). - choose your level of education and where you plan to study (College, Bachelor's Degree or Specialist Degree, Master's Degree, Postgraduate Degree). - choose the field of study that you
would like to study. You can immediately choose three fields of study of Bachelor's Degree or Specialist Degree.
- Note that in each direction you can immediately choose to attend each field of study either part-time or full-time.
- There are no restrictions on the number of fields of study for applicants for Master's Degree or Postgraduate Degree.
Take the entrance examinations conducted online. To manage online entrance examination, you must have a computer (laptop) with webcam and microphone.
Prepare your application documents: • scan copies of notary-certified
copies of - identity document – officially translated to the Russian language; - a diploma or other education document issued by a foreign higher education institution - officially translated to the Russian language; - a diploma supplement (including a transcript of completed subjects/courses) or a certified copy of a transcript of completed subjects/courses and passed exams - officially translated to the Russian language; • passport size photo (3 X 4)
In order to apply for a degree program at Dostoevsky OmSU,
you should follow these steps

Check again all personal data. If everything is correct, print out the application form and the Confirmation of Enrolment, sign these documents.
Attach electronic copies of your documents an existing digital field: ♦ documents from step 4 ♦ documents confirming your achievements, special rights; ♦ scans / photos of SIGNED applications (check the presence of all signatures).
After processing of your Application, your data will appear in the lists of applicants.
Fill in all the remaining information in the application. The system will ask you to submit a Confirmation of Enrolment. Please note that the Confirmation of Enrolment is submitted only to ONE university and only to ONE field of study before a fixed deadline. In 2020, submitting the Confirmation of Enrolment is equivalent to the original copies of your education document. By confirming the enrollment, you also confirm that within the academic year you will submit to the university the original copy of education document.
*Applicants who do not have knowledge of Russian to a degree sufficient for study in their chosen degree program can get enrolled at a Preparatory program (see on next slide). They will spend one year studying
Russian, as well as several profession-oriented subjects depending on the chosen field of their study.
