l. Open he bolt. To remove hebolt hold the rigger back and puthe bolt out.

2. Hold the front of the bolt and pull backthe cocking knob and turn it counter

clockwise; putting the striker n the.firedposltlon.

4. Turn he bolt head counter-clockwise ntil it stops and emove t.

5. The extractor

should ot be removed. t is dovetail mounted n the bolt head. f i t isbroken have a gunsmith eplace.

6. The striker s screwed nto the cocking nob at the ear of the bolt. Use he orked endof the bolt connector guide as a wrenchto unscrew he striker. It may be tight,do not use orce or the bolt connectorguide could be broken. It is under

tension. As you start to release t keepit under control.

7. Remove he striker and ts spring out from he ront. The cocking piece s alsoreleased. or reassembly: Line up the mark n the knob with the screw slot or thecorrect osition. Do not over ighten.

8. With a tool, push the magazinefloorplate atch oward he rear and ift

the loorplate pen.

14. Unscrew hislarge screw o

remove hebayonet.

15. tf the rifle has a full stock with the upper handguard, ush he spring catches ndslide the barrel bands orward. The barrel bands will not fit over the bayonet mount.Removal s not recommended(of he sight and bayonet mount). The bands can bestretched stightly. It is recommended hat you leave hem on, unless or repairs.

17. To remove he stock, nscrewthe arge at the top rear of the gun.

22. The ejector and eed ntemrpter are on the eft side of the barreled assembly. It maybe a two-piece r one-piece epending n the model. Unscrew he screw at the ear anddrift it forward out of its dovetail. *Note how the two pieces it together beforedisassembly.

24, Drtft out the rigger pin and emove he riggerspring/bolt topand rigger.
