Requirement at Goal Maidan

• Approx 60000 lit per day for Gardening and other activities.

• Decline in bore well yields and fall in ground water table levels.

• Reduced open soil surface area due to concrete coverage of surface.

Objectives

• To reduce run-off.,Stop street flooding.

• To Reduce strain on Municipal water supply

• To make water Availability round the clock at goal maidan for various needs.

• Low yield five bore wells.

Where there is well, there is way

• Well is located at peace park at lowest ground level of Garden.

• All the water used in Gardening comes to well through natural filter

• Strom water connected through filters to well.

• Recharging of existing bore wells through RWH

• Scheme of piped water Pumping machinery, Pipe line, Storage tanks.

• Recharging Pits.

Complete System

• The runoff collected from the ground at goal maidan is recharged using a filter pits of size 1.5m x 1.5m x 1.5m which after filtration of storm water recharges existing bore wells and new dug well.

• The water thus collected in dug well at lowest portion is pumped through submersible pump and through pipeline supplied to storage tanks in zones for use of non potable purposes.

Distribution System

• Out of 14 parts of Garden 7 parts are supplied water directly from dug well for Gardening through submersible pump.

• Rest of 7 parts getting water through storage tanks provided near by garden.
